Rob Schneider<\/strong>\u2019s comedy is so bad it\u2019s even offending his new base: conservatives. According to Politico<\/a>, the comedian turned conservative conspiracy theorist reportedly bombed so hard at a 2023 networking event for Republican lawmakers that a senator walked out, and Schneider\u2019s set was allegedly cut short after just 10 minutes.<\/p>\n The Deuce Bigalow: American Gigolo<\/em> star was tapped to perform late last year at a holiday event hosted at the Waldorf Astoria by the Senate Working Group, a networking group for senior GOP Hill staffers and their compatriots. Per Politico, Schneider\u2019s set was rife with \u201craunchy\u201d material and jokes \u201caimed at Asian people,\u201d including one about \u201cKorean whorehouses.\u201d The set was so ill-received that Senator Cindy Hyde-Smith<\/strong> walked out shortly after it began. A spokesperson for Hyde-Smith confirmed to Politico the walkout and called Schneider\u2019s comedy \u201cgross and vulgar,\u201d adding that \u201cshe didn\u2019t have to listen to it and so she got up and left.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n Schneider\u2019s routine, which reportedly was supposed to last a half hour, was reportedly cut off after 10 minutes by Senate Working Group executive director James Kimmey.<\/strong> The day after the event, per Politico, the SWG sent the following email to the event\u2019s approximately 150 attendees, 40 of whom were senior Senate staffers: \u201cWhile we do our best to ensure every aspect of our program is professional, courteous, and appropriate, we sincerely regret that the entertainment at last night\u2019s program fell short of that goal.\u201d A representative for SWG told Politico that Schneider \u201cdisregarded a verbal agreement he\u2019d made with Kimmey to keep his set relatively clean.\u201d<\/p>\n Schneider\u2019s descent into far-right conservatism \u201ccomedy\u201d is well-documented. On the social media platform X<\/em>, the former Saturday Night Live<\/em> performer and star of early aughts comedy flicks like The Hot Chick<\/em> regularly reposts far-right accounts like Libs of TikTok and spouts conservative rhetoric to his 1.7 million followers<\/a>. \u201cI AM COMING to Washington DC to perform and I will tell you ALL the JOKES that this group of pussies and professional political asskissers are whining about!!,\u201d tweeted Schneider, along with a photo and bio of Kimmey<\/a>.<\/p>\n In a statement to TMZ<\/a>, Schneider denied Politico\u2019s report, telling the gossip outlet that Politico put out \u201cfalse info\u201d and that he performed a 50-minute set at the Republican networking event. \u201cI\u2019m not changing my material or apologizing for my jokes to anybody,\u201d Schneider told TMZ. \u201cEnough with this woke bullshit. America\u2019s sick of it. I did 50 minutes because that\u2019s what I was paid to do.
