Fans concluded that the image was referring to Drake&#8217;s several ongoing feuds, with the Canadian likening him to the story&#8217;s hero who will soon emerge victorious.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Thurman caught wind of Drake&#8217;s Story and responded in her own Instagram Story, sharing an\u00a0image of the\u00a0<\/span><em><span>Kill Bill<\/span><\/em><span> costume wrapped in plastic for storage and tagging the musician. &#8220;Need this?&#8221; Thurman wrote over the photo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Yes pls. The pen is Hattori Hanz\u014d,&#8221; Drake wrote in a repost, comparing his lyrical skills to the famed samurai.<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"shortcode shortcode-image content-in\"><figcaption class=\"content-in\">Drake&amp;#039;s Instagram Story in response to Uma Thurman &#8211; <span class=\"shortcode-image__credit\">Drake\/Instagram Story<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span>The unexpected social media interaction came after several of Drake&#8217;s previous collaborators took jabs at the\u00a0<\/span><em><span>For All The Dogs<\/span><\/em><span>\u00a0rapper.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While it all began with\u00a0Drake and J. Cole&#8217;s October 2023 release of &#8220;First Person Shooter&#8221; &#8212; in which Cole called him, Drake and Lamar the &#8220;Big 3&#8221; of rap &#8212; Lamar&#8217;s response is what seemingly ignited the lyrical war against Drake.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In March, Lamar featured on Future and Metro Boomin&#8217;s &#8220;Like That,&#8221;\u00a0a song released as part of the pair&#8217;s new collaborative album,\u00a0<\/span><em><span>We Don&#8217;t Trust You<\/span><\/em><span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In Lamar&#8217;s verse, he declares &#8220;motherf**k the big three,&#8221; adding &#8220;it&#8217;s just big me.&#8221;\u00a0Lamar also responded to &#8220;First Person Shooter&#8221; by adding: &#8220;f**k sneak dissin&#8217;, first-person shooter, I hope they came with three switches.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Lamar also takes a direct shot at Drake, comparing the &#8220;One Dance&#8221; rapper to Michael Jackson and himself to Prince.\u00a0&#8220;What? I&#8217;m really like that\/And your best work is a light pack\/N&#8212;-, Prince outlived Mike Jack&#8217;\/N&#8212;-, bum,&#8221; Lamar raps. &#8220;&#8216;Fore all your dogs gettin&#8217; buried\/ That&#8217;s a K with all these nines, he gon&#8217; see Pet Sematary.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The track was followed by the release of\u00a0<\/span><em><span>We Don&#8217;t Trust You<\/span><\/em><span>, which\u00a0features appearances from The Weeknd,\u00a0A$AP Rocky, and even Cole himself.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Weeknd <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.complex.com\/music\/a\/backwoodsaltar\/the-weeknd-shade-drake-ovo-on-all-to-myself\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">seemingly takes a shot at Drake<\/a><span> on the track &#8220;All to Myself,&#8221; in which he sings: &#8220;They could never diss my brothers, baby\/When they got leaks in they operation\/I thank God that I never signed my life away.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On the song &#8220;Show of Hands,&#8221; A$AP seemingly hits back at Drake after the OVO label founder <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.etonline.com\/why-fans-think-drakes-new-song-is-a-dig-at-rihanna-and-aap-rocky-212668\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">seemingly took a dig at the father of two and his lady love, Rihanna,<\/a><span> whom Drake dated on and off between 2009 and 2018.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Call up Pluto, Metro, should&#8217;ve put me on the first one \/ N****s swear they b**ch the baddest, I just bagged the worst one\/ N****s in they feelings over women, what, you hurt or somethin&#8217;? \/ I smash before you birthed, son, Flacko hit it first, son,&#8221; A$AP raps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Drake has allegedly gotten his lick back against his adversaries. On Saturday, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=A3yAsr42Pn8\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a diss track attributed to the rapper titled<\/a><span> &#8220;Push Ups (Drop and Give Me 50)&#8221; surfaced on social media, per\u00a0<\/span><a data-component=\"link\" data-ordinal=\"1\" data-source=\"inlineLink\" data-type=\"externalLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.rollingstone.com\/music\/music-news\/drake-kendrick-lamar-diss-track-leak-report-1235004188\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\"><em>Rolling Stone<\/em><\/a><span>. The song later premiered in media personality DJ Akademiks&#8217; Twitch stream.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In the leaked track, Drake takes aim at Lamar, calling him a &#8220;pipsqueak&#8221; and claiming he wears a &#8220;size 7&#8221; shoe. Drake even names Lamar&#8217;s wife, Whitney, while referencing Whitney Houston&#8217;s role in the 1992 film <\/span><em><span>The Bodyguard<\/span><\/em><span>. He raps that SZA, 21 Savage and Travis Scott hold more weight than Lamar does in the music business.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Pipsqueak, pipe down\/ You ain&#8217;t in no big three, SZA got you wiped down\/ Travis got you wiped down, Savage got you wiped down\/ Like your label, boy, you in the scope right now,&#8221; Drake raps.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While 21 Savage and Scott haven&#8217;t responded to the lyrics, SZA seemingly\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/reel\/C5uBs1PyAO0\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reacted on her\u00a0Instagram Story<\/a><span> by\u00a0sharing a clip of NeNe Leakes from her <\/span><em><span>Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/span><\/em><span> tenure where she questions, &#8220;Now, why am I in it? See how I get thrown into stuff? I ain&#8217;t even did nothing.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<figure class=\"shortcode shortcode-image content-in\"><figcaption class=\"content-in\">GRAMMY winner SZA &#8211; <span class=\"shortcode-image__credit\">Johnny Nunez\/Getty Images for The Recording Academy<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p><span>Drake also jabbed at Rick Ross, whom seemingly picked a side when he\u00a0filmed himself playing &#8220;Like That&#8221; on social media upon its release.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>&#8220;Can&#8217;t believe he jumpin&#8217; in, this n&#8211;a turnin&#8217; fifty\/ Every song that made it on the chart, he got from Drizzy,&#8221; Drake raps on &#8220;Push Ups.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Ross was quick to respond that same night with his track, &#8220;Champagne Moments,&#8221; which was also teased on Akademiks&#8217; Twitch stream.
