Kris Jenner<\/a>‘s sister, who died on March 18 aged 65.<\/p>\nTaking to her Instagram Story, she shared a snap of herself as a toddler in the harms of her Auntie Karen, which she captioned with heart and angel wing emojis.<\/p>\n
Last week, it was reported that Houghton died from “cardiac arrest and sudden cardiac arrhythmia”.<\/p>\n
According to TMZ, her death certificate also listed Type 2 diabetes as a secondary underlying cause.<\/p>\n
\nKris announced her sister’s death with an heartfelt post on Instagram in March.<\/p>\n
\nShe wrote: “It is with the heaviest heart and deepest sadness that I share that my sister Karen passed away yesterday unexpectedly.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cMy heart aches for my mom MJ (Mary Jo) and my niece Natalie and I pray that God guides us all through this difficult time. Karen was beautiful inside and out.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKris also hailed her late sister as the \u201csweetest, kindest, the most sensitive and vulnerable\u201d person who she said was also \u201cso so funny\u201d. <\/p>\n
\nShe added: \u201cShe always felt grateful and thankful for her life and treasured her family and friends and especially her beautiful daughter.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAdding that Karen holds a \u201chuge part of (my) heart\u201d, she said: \u201cI cherish every single memory we have together.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKris concluded her message with the lines: \u201cKaren\u2019s passing is a reminder that life is so short and precious and tomorrow is never promised. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cWe must tell those we cherish how much we love them. I love you my beautiful sister.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAnd, Natalie explained that her mother’s death happened “so quickly”.<\/p>\n
\nShe posted: “Dear Mommy, I can\u2019t believe your gone. This doesn\u2019t even feel real. I keep hoping that I will get to hug you or kiss you or hear your voice one last time.<\/p>\n
\n“You were my best friend, my everything. The best mother a daughter could ever ask for and I\u2019m so grateful to have had a mother like you.<\/p>\n
\n“You were the most kind, sweet, loving, giving, and caring soul. You had the biggest heart.<\/p>\n
\n“And I don\u2019t know how to go on without you. It all happened so quick [and] I wasn\u2019t ready for you to go.<\/p>\n
\n“An angel was sent to heaven on March 18th, 2024. I love you mommy and you will forever be missed.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
