Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a>\u00a0is preparing to dance the night away on May 4 with host and musical guest <\/span>Dua Lipa<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n During <\/span>Ryan Gosling<\/a>‘s hosting gig on April 13, <\/span>SNL <\/span><\/em>announced that the 28-year-old singer will take on both coveted roles next month as she continues to promote her upcoming third studio album,\u00a0<\/span>Radical Optimism.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n “DOUBLE DUTY DUA,” the “Levitating” singer wrote on Instagram late Saturday evening, just <\/span>one day after dropping “Illusion,”<\/a> the new song off the highly anticipated release.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The hosting gig will immediately follow the May 3 release of <\/span>Radical Optimism<\/span><\/em>, which Dua first announced back in March.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n She previously stopped by Studio 8H at 30 Rockefeller Plaza back in January 2021 to sing “Don’t Start Now” and “Levitating” with host <\/span>Kristen Wiig<\/a>, who just recently returned to her old digs for the April 6 episode alongside RAYE.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n It’s been an epic season of <\/span>SNL <\/span><\/em>thus far as <\/span>Saltburn<\/span><\/em> star <\/span>Jacob Elordi<\/a> helmed the first episode of the new year, alongside musical guest Rene\u00e9 Rapp. Following <\/span>Dakota Johnson<\/a> and <\/span>Justin Timberlake<\/a>‘s <\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em> return on Jan. 27,\u00a0<\/span>The Bear <\/span><\/em>star <\/span>Ayo Edebiri<\/a> made her <\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em> debut, alongside returning musical guest <\/span>Jennifer Lopez<\/a>. Season 49 has also included host and musical guest appearances from <\/span>Josh Brolin<\/a>, <\/span>Ariana Grande<\/a>, <\/span>Emma Stone<\/a> and <\/span>Sydney Sweeney<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The NBC sketch comedy show kicked off its 49th season on Oct. 14, and brought <\/span>SNL <\/span><\/em>alum\u00a0<\/span>Pete Davidson<\/a> back to Studio 8H to host the premiere.\u00a0<\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em> was <\/span>forced to go dark and cut its 48th season short<\/a>\u00a0earlier this year due to the Writers Guild of America strike. However, with the WGA reaching a deal with the AMPTP, <\/span>Saturday Night Live<\/em><\/a>\u00a0was able to return to TV.<\/span><\/p>\n Check out the full list of the hosts and musical guests who are lending their talent to season 49.<\/span><\/p>\n SNL <\/span><\/em>Episode 1 — Oct. 14, 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Pete Davidson hosted the season premiere, alongside the night’s musical guest, rapper Ice Spice.\u00a0The\u00a0<\/span>Dumb Money<\/span><\/em>\u00a0star departed the show following season 47, after eight seasons — most in which he was the youngest cast member. Davidson joined the show when he was just 20 years old and was perhaps most popular for his self-effacing “Weekend Update” appearances.<\/span><\/p>\n SNL<\/span><\/em> Episode 2 — Oct. 21, 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Bad Bunny pulled double duty as host and musical guest on Oct. 21. He previously performed back in season 46, during an episode hosted by Reg\u00e9-Jean Page, in which he <\/span>made an appearance as an old-timey sailor<\/a> in one of the night’s more memorable sketches.<\/span><\/p>\n SNL<\/span><\/em> Episode 3 — Oct. 28, 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Acclaimed comedian Nate Bargatze — best known for his GRAMMY-nominated stand-up show,\u00a0<\/span>The Greatest Average American\u00a0<\/span><\/em>— made his debut <\/span>SNL <\/span><\/em>hosting appearance on Oct. 28. He was joined by the Foo Fighters, who made their ninth appearance as musical guests, and their first time back in Studio 8H since season 46.<\/span><\/p>\n SNL<\/span><\/em> Episode 4 — Nov. 11, 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet made his return to the <\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em> stage on Nov. 11. The <\/span>Wonka<\/span><\/em> star previously hosted the sketch comedy series in December 2020, during season 46. This time around, Chalamet was joined by musical guest\u00a0boygenius.<\/span><\/p>\n SNL<\/span><\/em> Episode 5 — Nov. 18, 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Jason Momoa hosted\u00a0<\/span>SNL<\/span><\/em>\u00a0for the second time on Nov. 18, with Tate McRae making her musical guest debut.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n SNL<\/span><\/em> Episode 6 — Dec. 2, 2023<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n Oscar winner Emma Stone joined the show’s prestigious Five-Timers Club after four previous turns as host, and two memorable guest cameos.
