Nicole Kidman says she\u2019s \u2018so lucky\u2019 to have married Keith Urban<\/p>\n
The \u2018Eyes Wide Shut\u2019 actress, 56, who has daughters Sunday Rose, 15, and Faith Margaret, 13, with her musician husband, also 56, said she fell for him fast after he stood outside her New York home at 5am with a bunch of flowers \u2013 with the couple marrying just over a year after their initial meeting at an event in Los Angeles in 2005.<\/p>\n
She told People: \u201cI\u2019m so lucky that I have Keith who\u2019s just my love, my deep, deep love.\u201d<\/p>\n
Nicole has also told People about the moment she fell in love with Keith: \u201cIt was my (38th) birthday, and he stood outside with gardenias at 5am on my stoop in New York.<\/p>\n
\u201cThat is when I went, \u2018This is the man I hope I get to marry.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicole added the early days of their romance were \u201cpretty intense\u201d, but said she was convinced she had met \u201cThe One\u201d.<\/p>\n
\nShe went on: \u201cI believed by that point he was the love of my life. Maybe that\u2019s because I am deeply romantic, or I\u2019m an actress, or I have strong faith as well, but I just believed, \u2018Oh, okay, here he is.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nNicol and Keith got hitched in her native Australia and the pair have stayed close by making sure to make time for each other and their family despite demanding work schedules.<\/p>\n
\nThe actress added: \u201cI remember talking to somebody once and they were like, \u2018What do you do?\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m like, \u2018Well, primarily I have my family, I raise my kids, and I work.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI\u2019m raising a soon to be 16-year-old and a 13-year-old who are divine. They\u2019re just lovely people and I\u2019m so lucky that I have Keith… that gives me the ability to go and do whatever I have to do because I know where I can come back.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nMum-of-four Nicole \u2013 who also has children Bella, 31, and 29-year-old Connor with her 61-year-old former husband Tom Cruise \u2013 last year marked her and Keith\u2019s 17th wedding anniversary by posting a black-and-white snapshot of the pair online, which she captioned: \u201cHappy Anniversary my Love.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nKeith has told People about Nicole: \u201cI could sum up Nic as a wife, mother and human being in three words: She\u2019s all heart!\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
