The nation\u2014heck, the planet, the galaxy<\/em>\u2014could use a little good news right now. Luckily, Kenan Thompson<\/strong> and Kel Mitchell<\/strong> are ready to provide us with the brightness and joy we all require.<\/p>\n Appearing on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em>, the comedy duo cleared their throats and, to a drumroll, announced that the long-awaited sequel to the 1997 cinematic triumph Good Burger<\/em><\/a> is, indeed, in the works!<\/p>\n \u201cWelcome to Good Burger, Home of the Good Burger\u2014PART TWO!!!\u201d Mitchell shouted, as he and his comrade-in-condiments leaped from the late-night couch to shrieks and huzzahs. Eager to bask in the celebration, Jimmy Fallon<\/strong> emerged from behind his desk to join the victory lap.\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s a blessing, it\u2019s unbelievable,\u201d Thompson, now the longest-running cast member in Saturday Night Live<\/em> history, said. \u201cWe\u2019re going to shoot it this summer.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWe won. The people have spoken,\u201d Fallon added.<\/p>\n Kenan and Kel then reminisced about meeting at the age of 14 to work on the Nickelodeon sketch comedy series All That<\/em>, particularly amused that they clicked with the characters \u201cMavis and Clavis<\/a>,\u201d in which the two kids impersonated geriatrics.<\/p>\n Mitchell added that he gets reminded about Good Burger<\/em> at any restaurant he attends. \u201cIt could be 5-star, it could be drive-thru.\u201d No complaints, though, because it leads to free burgers.<\/p>\n Thompson teased the movie a smidge. He said there would be \u201chijinks\u201d and called out to \u201canyone famous\u201d if they wanted to make a cameo. Fallon was quick to sign up.\u00a0<\/p>\n The appearance ended with a nostalgia-rich musical number.<\/p>\n As Fallon pointed out, Kenan and Kel appeared in a Good Burger<\/em> reunion some years ago on The Tonight Show<\/em>, to great fan delight. \u201cSpicy Chicken Wrap\u201d or \u201cSpicy Chicken RAP\u201d?
