No matter how hard they tried, Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Travis Kelce<\/strong><\/a> couldn\u2019t avoid the paparazzi as they stepped out for dinner in Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 9.<\/span><\/p>\n In photos obtained by <\/a>Page Six,<\/em> the couple ducked into the backseat of an SUV after leaving Bird Street Club together. A security guard in the passenger seat attempted to block them from the flashing cameras, but the back of Travis\u2019 head could be seen in the background. A black curtain covered the window on the side of the car where Taylor, 34, was sitting, although she was slightly visible behind the driver.<\/span><\/p>\n Taylor and Travis have been spending time on the west coast during her break from the Eras tour. After a brief getaway to the Bahamas in March, they\u2019ve popped up in California together a few times in recent weeks. The tour will resume on May 9 in Paris, France, and the \u201cBlank Space\u201d singer is also set to release her next album, The Tortured Poets Department<\/em><\/a>, on April 19.<\/span><\/p>\n During the Wednesday, April 10, episode of his \u201cNew Heights\u201d podcast, Travis opened up about the early stages of his relationship with Taylor, which began after he gave her a shout-out on the same podcast in July 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know how I did it<\/a> because she wasn\u2019t into sports,\u201d he said. \u201cSo I don\u2019t know how the f\u2013k I did it.\u201d When the show\u2019s guest reminded Travis that he was able to land the pop star because he \u201ccalled her out on [his] multimedia platform,\u201d the NFL star admitted, \u201cI know exactly how I did it.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In a December 2023 interview, Taylor said that Travis putting her \u201con blast\u201d was \u201cmetal as hell\u201d and revealed that they started hanging out \u201cright after that.\u201d The pair\u2019s relationship has been highly publicized, which was a change from Taylor\u2019s previous romance with Joe Alwyn<\/strong>. The exes dated for more than six years and were rarely seen out in public together.<\/span><\/p>\n
