Claudia Jordan<\/strong> didn\u2019t really get a chance to shine on <\/span>The Real Housewives of Atlanta<\/span><\/i><\/a>. The TV personality starred in Season 7 of the Bravo hit but opted not to return as a \u201cfriend\u201d for subsequent installments. \u201cAndy Cohen<\/strong> has said he thinks I didn\u2019t really get a fair shot since it was late into filming when I was given my peach,\u201d the single 51-year-old says of being bestowed the show\u2019s coveted honor. \u201cAnd that didn\u2019t allow for much time to really capture my story, which I agree with.\u201d Here, Claudia, who recently competed on the NBC reality series <\/span>Deal or No Deal Island<\/span><\/i> and hosts the celeb chat show <\/span>Tea-G-I-F<\/span><\/i> on Fox Soul, talks to <\/span>Life & Style<\/span><\/i> about <\/span>Housewives<\/span><\/i>, being a briefcase model alongside Meghan Markle<\/strong> on the original<\/span> Deal or No Deal<\/span><\/i>, and why she swore off dating.<\/span><\/p>\n

Would you go back to RHOA?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: Yes. I\u2019m in the perfect season of my life where it would make sense to come back: I have so much more going on. Now I\u2019m a lot more successful, I lead a more extravagant lifestyle, and my friend circle is one that would make good TV.<\/span><\/p>\n

Are you in contact with any co-stars?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: I still keep in touch with Cynthia [Bailey]<\/strong>, Kenya [Moore]<\/strong> and occasionally Kandi [Burruss]<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n

You\u2019ve kept busy, most recently on Deal or No Deal Island. Did being a briefcase model prepare you for that experience?\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: I certainly felt extremely knowledgeable about the game, but I wasn\u2019t prepared for the snakes, monkeys and biggest bugs I\u2019d ever seen in my life in my living area!<\/span><\/p>\n

Are there any other shows you\u2019d do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: I love game shows. I\u2019ve always wanted to be on Wheel of Fortune<\/em> and Family Feud.<\/em> As far as reality shows, I really want to be on The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip<\/em>. It\u2019s only right. Come on, Andy \u2014 let\u2019s make it happen!<\/span><\/p>\n

What was Meghan Markle like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: She mainly kept to herself. She was a beautiful lady who was often off studying lines for her auditions. I have nothing but kind things to say about her.<\/span><\/p>\n

Were you surprised that she ended up marrying Prince Harry?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: We\u2019re all really proud knowing that our fellow colleague went on to become an international star and icon. After hearing that she was introduced to Harry through a blind date set up by her friends, I told my girls that they\u2019ve got to step it up and do better by me!<\/span><\/p>\n

How is your love life going?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: After my last relationship \u2014 which I was told was leading to marriage with someone I had known as a friend for years \u2014 I had to take a step back and reevaluate things. I gave my heart a break and put myself on a six-month dating ban! I extended it to a year because life had become so peaceful and drama-free.<\/span><\/p>\n

What did you learn?<\/strong><\/p>\n

CJ: I experienced real happiness being by myself, and it made me look at dating differently. I was constantly putting others\u2019 needs and feelings before my own. I\u2019ll always be a loving and giving person, but will no longer sacrifice my happiness for others. Fans have commented about my \u201cglow,\u201d assuming it\u2019s from a relationship. Little did they know it\u2019s coming from within now, which feels even better!<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
