It\u2019s been three months since their splashy televised wedding, but Golden Bachelor<\/em><\/a> star Gerry Turner<\/strong><\/a> and his final rose recipient, Theresa Nist<\/strong><\/a>, still haven\u2019t merged their lives. A source exclusively tells Life & Style<\/em> the retired restaurateur, 72, is still living at his lake house<\/a> in Indiana, while Theresa, 70, continues to reside at home in New Jersey, where she works as a compliance officer. \u201cThe problem is, Theresa can\u2019t just pick up and leave her job, and she has family in New Jersey,\u201d says the insider. \u201cInitially, they thought Gerry could move in with her but that didn\u2019t happen.\u201d<\/p>\n Also on hold are plans to move to Charleston, South Carolina<\/a>. In 2023, Gerry revealed that the pair had discussed buying a home there because it was close to Theresa\u2019s son and grandchildren. \u201cAll of a sudden it\u2019s like, there\u2019s a big problem that is gone,\u201d he said at the time. \u201cThe issue of compromising on where to live and how to reconcile families and all of that is, it\u2019s no longer an issue.\u201d<\/p>\n As they hammer out where to live, the couple prioritize quality time when they\u2019re together, going on dinner dates and shopping trips, spending cozy nights in watching The Bachelor<\/em> and planning their upcoming Italian honeymoon<\/a>. \u201cFor the time being they\u2019re staying put in their separate states, but they don\u2019t seem to mind,\u201d says the insider. \u201cThey\u2019re still working out the logistics.
