Oliver Hudson<\/strong><\/a> reflected on his wrongdoings in his relationship with now-wife Erinn Bartlett<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen I got engaged, something happened psychologically, and I spiraled,\u201d Hudson, 47, admitted during his \u201cSibling Revelry\u201d podcast<\/a> on Tuesday, April 9, during a conversation with Robyn Lively<\/strong>. \u201cI was unfaithful, and I was cheating, and I was crazy.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI never got caught. I told her everything because I couldn\u2019t live with myself and get married and be married and have children with this sort of weight.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hudson and Bartlett, 51, got married in 2006 and share three kids, Wilder, 16, Bodhi, 14, and Rio, 10.<\/p>\n

Despite his infidelity, Hudson said he doesn\u2019t have \u201cmany regrets\u201d about his past.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a choice that I made, whether it was a positive one or a negative one. I\u2019ve made some horrible, horrible choices in my life just generally,\u201d he explained during Tuesday\u2019s podcast. \u201cYou would think I regret doing that, but I don\u2019t know who I would be if I didn\u2019t make that choice.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hudson praised his wife, calling her an \u201camazing woman\u201d as they worked through his mistake<\/a>. \u201cI was going through whatever I was going through, and we were able to sort of therapy and do all of it and get through it,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n

Hudson also said he was quick to go to his mom<\/a>, Goldie Hawn<\/strong>, for advice.<\/p>\n

\u201cMy mother played a big part in it as well. Where it\u2019s about looking at the entirety and the totality of the relationship, not just the action,\u201d he recalled. \u201cEven though it might seem extreme, let\u2019s dig in a little bit into why and [look] at the whole person rather than this one affliction. Because I\u2019m a good man, no doubt. I\u2019m not malicious and all that.\u201d<\/p>\n
