Brittany Cartwright has revealed she had Jax Taylor only made love ‘twice in the past year’ before their split<\/p>\n
\nThe former couple – who are parents to two-year-old Cruz – announced in February they were ending their four-year marriage, and now the 35-year-old beauty has detailed how things “changed dramatically” in the bedroom in the months before they separated.<\/p>\n
\nDuring an episode of \u2018The Valley\u2019, she said: \u201cWhen Jax and I first met, it was awesome. We were having sex all the time, 24\/7, and I mean, we didn\u2019t miss a day. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd then, it has just changed dramatically. I\u2019m talking twice in the past year.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nBrittany acknowledged that becoming parents had also changed their relationship.<\/p>\n
\nShe said: \u201cJust put the kid first for so long, he\u2019s always going to come first, let\u2019s be real but\u2026\u201d <\/p>\n
\nJax also acknowledged the decline in their sex life and accepted the “blame” for having let their “spark fizzle”.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: \u201cThe romantic spark is just not there right now. I will take blame, yeah, I let that spark fizzle. It\u2019s just not fair to either one of us. Especially, it\u2019s not fair to my wife because she deserves to have a man be loving for her.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt has been a little bit of an issue because, you know, your sex life and your marriage kind of take a back seat when you have a child.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cIt\u2019s a big deal and I don\u2019t want it to become a bigger deal.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nIn another interview, Brittany admitted the lack of sex had made her reach “breaking point” with their relationship.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Us Weekly magazine: \u201cKeeping things romantic and spicy is how you make it work. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf we\u2019re going to make it 20 years, we have to keep this up but it\u2019s already dwindled so much. It was messing with my confidence \u2014 why is he not coming on to me? I felt like I wasn\u2019t good enough. <\/p>\n
\n\u201cIf you start to feel like your partner doesn\u2019t want you and they\u2019re also being mean to you, it\u2019s like, \u2018What am I doing here?\u2019 I\u2019m basically living with a roommate. I hit my breaking point.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
