\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Kenan & Kel<\/strong> fans rejoice \u2013 Good Burger 2 <\/em><\/strong>is happening!<\/p>\n Longtime pals and actors Kenan Thompson<\/strong><\/a> and Kel Mitchell<\/strong><\/a> have announced that they\u2019ll be reuniting once more for more Good Burger.<\/p>\n The duo revealed the news during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon<\/em> on Friday night (March 17).<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n The upcoming movie will follow Dexter Reed (Thompson<\/strong>) and original cashier Ed as they reunite in the present day at the fast food restaurant Good Burger, along with a new group of employees.<\/p>\n In the sequel, Dexter is down on his luck after another one of his inventions fails. Ed welcomes Dex back to Good Burger with open arms and gives him his old job back. With a new crew working at Good Burger, Dex devises a plan to get back on his feet but unfortunately puts the fate of Good Burger at risk once again.<\/p>\n \u201cI can\u2019t believe it\u2019s been a little over 25 years since great customer service was born at Good Burger!\u201d Kenan<\/strong> shared. \u201cBeing a part of something so many generations of people have come to love has made me so proud and now to be back where it all began working on the sequel is surreal! Love performing with my brother Kel<\/strong> and can\u2019t wait to show the fans what these characters have been up to since we last saw them.\u201d<\/p>\n Kel<\/strong> added, \u201cEd is one of those timeless characters that has brought so much joy and laughter to fans, and it\u2019s such a beautiful blessing to still be doing it after all these years. It\u2019s super awesome to come back and continue the stories of Dex, Ed and Good Burger for both the people who grew up watching and their kids.\u201d<\/p>\n Production on Good Burger 2<\/em> is slated to begin in May and premiere later this year on Paramount+.<\/p>\n Kevin Kopelow<\/strong> and Heath Seifert<\/strong>, who wrote and produced the original movie, on the Kenan & Kel<\/em> series and on All That<\/em>, are returning to write Good Burger 2<\/em>, and executive produce. Phil Traill <\/strong>is directing.<\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t know, Good Burger<\/em> was a 90s film based off of a sketch with Kenan<\/strong> and Kel<\/strong> on the Nickelodeon sketch series All That<\/em>.<\/p>\n Just recently, Kenan<\/strong> and Kel <\/strong>were back together on SNL<\/em>.
