Today was the solar eclipse and the fallen down the stairs at the Met Gala singer shared a picture of him looking at the eclipse. People were quick to clock him in his comments for not wearing any glasses to protect his eyes from the sun.<\/p>\n
Replies he received included, “Someone going to be seeing an optometrist tomorrow.”<\/p>\n
“RIP to his eye sight.”<\/p>\n
And, “Do you guys really think he\u2019s stupid? A photo takes a literal second. Obviously he\u2019s not gonna fuck up his vision and probably not looking directly at the sun. It\u2019s a joke. It\u2019s meant to be funny. If someone misinformed does this, it\u2019s not on him.”<\/p>\n

The next total solar eclipse that will be visible to the continental U.S. won’t be until August 23, 2044, according to The Planetary Society<\/a>. Almost exactly one year later, however, there will be another total solar eclipse that will span coast to coast on August 12, 2045.<\/p>\n
