Beyonc\u00e9<\/a> <\/strong>has added another milestone to her iconic career as she became the first Black woman ever to reach No. 1 on the Billboard<\/em> Top Country Albums chart.<\/a><\/p>\n

Her latest release, Cowboy Carter<\/em>, also debuted at the top of the Billboard<\/em> 200 chart, selling 407,000 album units during the first week of April. The 32-time Grammy winner now has the fourth-most No. 1 hits among women, following Taylor Swift<\/strong> (13), Barbra Streisand<\/strong> (11) and Madonna<\/strong> (nine).<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9<\/a>, 42, achieved the best-selling week of 2024 and her biggest debut since her Lemonade<\/em> album sold 653,000 units in May 2016.<\/p>\n

Beyonc\u00e9 introduced Cowboy Carter<\/em> in February with \u201cTexas Hold \u2018Em,<\/a>\u201d which became the first song by a Black female artist to reach No. 1 on the Billboard<\/em> Hot Country chart.<\/p>\n

Hailey Bieber, Rita Ora and more celebs took to social media to celebrate the release of the 42-year-old\u2019s sprawling foray into country music. The album, which features 27 tracks, [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Her controversial new music was recognized at the iHeartRadio Music Awards<\/a> on April 1 at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles when she received the Innovator Award<\/a> from Stevie Wonder<\/strong>, who played harmonica on Beyonc\u00e9\u2019s version of \u201cJolene.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI just want to thank you for motivating the world to become a better place,\u201d Wonder, 73, said while presenting the award.<\/p>\n

In her acceptance speech, Beyonc\u00e9 said, \u201cInnovation starts with a dream. But then you have to execute that dream, and that road can be very bumpy. Being an innovator is saying what everyone believes is impossible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cBeing an innovator often means being criticized, which often will test your mental strength,\u201d she continued. \u201cBeing an innovator is leaning on faith and trusting that God will catch you and guide you.\u201d<\/p>\n
