Lainey Wilson<\/b> doesn\u2019t expect to make a return for Yellowstone<\/i><\/a>\u2019<\/i>s final season.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019ll be honest with you. I\u2019d be shocked,\u201d Wilson, 31, told Entertainment Tonight<\/i><\/a> <\/i>on Sunday, April 7, at the 2024 CMT Music Awards<\/a>. \u201cAnd I think how [series creator] Taylor Sheridan<\/b> writes his stories, and he just has a beautiful way of bringing things back and letting things go \u2014 I\u2019ll be shocked. So, we\u2019ll see what happens.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson won Female Video of the Year for her song \u201cWatermelon Moonshine\u201d at Sunday\u2019s award ceremony. Earlier this month, the singer, who played musician Abby for four episodes during season 5 of the hit Paramount series, exclusively told Us Weekly <\/i><\/a>that she was \u201chumbled\u201d after winning the Grammy for Best Country Album<\/a> <\/i>in February.<\/i><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s a blessing to get such a positive response from the fans and my industry peers,\u201d Wilson told Us<\/i> at the time. \u201cI\u2019ve been working towards this for over a decade, so I\u2019m excited to build on this energy for my upcoming tour and connect with fans all over the world. It doesn\u2019t necessarily mean less stress, but it\u2019s validating, to say the least.\u201d<\/p>\n

Wilson\u2019s Grammy win marked a culmination of her recent triumphs, which included winning Entertainer of the Year at the 2023 Country Music Association Awards and Album of the Year (for Bell Bottom Country<\/i>) at the 2023 Academy of Country Music Awards. However, she emphasized to Us<\/i> that her motivation in the music industry goes beyond accolades.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m so grateful and incredibly humbled by the success of Bell Bottom Country,<\/i>\u201d she noted. \u201cI love to write, I love to perform, and I love to connect with people. That\u2019s what fills my cup.\u201d<\/p>\n

In April 2023, Wilson told Us Weekly<\/i> at the 2023 CMT Music Awards<\/a> that she would never give up her passion of music<\/a> for acting after joining the Yellowstone<\/i> cast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI will never not make songwriting my priority because the songwriting is what has given me all the rest of these opportunities,\u201d she told Us<\/i> at the time.<\/p>\n
