The Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> cast is preparing to address all their drama \u2014 both onscreen and off<\/a> \u2014 after filming season 10.<\/p>\n Before the hit Bravo series returned with new episodes<\/a> in February 2023, the topic on everyone\u2019s mind was Tom Schwartz<\/strong><\/a> and Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 relationship. Amid his divorce from Katie Maloney<\/strong><\/a>, Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed in August 2022 that Schwartz and Raquel hooked up<\/a> at Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/a> and Brock Davies<\/strong><\/a>\u2018 nuptials. (The Minnesota native and Katie finalized their divorce two months later<\/a>.)<\/p>\n However, cast and fans alike were in for a shakeup when news broke<\/a> in March 2023 that Tom Sandoval<\/strong> <\/a>and Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> had split after nearly a decade of dating because he cheated<\/a> with Raquel.<\/p>\n \u201cThe cameras haven\u2019t stopped rolling since Wednesday night. It\u2019s not an understatement to say this will be the most explosive season of Vanderpump Rules ever,\u201d a source exclusively told Us<\/em> following the TomTom co-owner and Ariana\u2019s breakup.<\/a><\/p>\n Bravo later confirmed that Kristen Doute<\/strong><\/a> would return to film scenes with Ariana after being fired in 2020 for past racist behavior<\/a>. The He\u2019s Making You Crazy<\/em> author was spotted arriving at her former costar\u2019s house<\/a> in March 2023 as the drama unfolded. (Kristen dated Sandoval from 2007 to 2013 before he moved on<\/a> with the Florida native.)<\/p>\n In response to the cheating drama, Sandoval issued a public apology to his now-ex-girlfriend<\/a> after only addressing the backlash his Los Angeles business received when he initially broke his silence.<\/p>\n \u201cI want to first and foremost apologize to everyone I\u2019ve hurt through this process. Most of all, I want to apologize to Ariana,\u201d the Missouri native wrote via Instagram in March 2023. \u201cI made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.\u201d<\/p>\n He added: \u201cI can only imagine how devastating this has been for Ariana and everyone around us. I feel really horrible about that. My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.\u201d<\/p>\n Raquel, for her part, also reflected on the drama in her own statement<\/a>. \u201cI want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships. There is no excuse, I am not a victim and I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana,\u201d she wrote via Instagram.<\/p>\n In her lengthy message, Raquel noted that she was planning to speak to \u201ca counselor\u201d about her issues<\/a>. \u201cI have sought emotional validation through intimate connections that are not healthy without regard for my own well-being, sometimes negatively affecting others and often prioritizing the intimate connection over my friendships,\u201d she added. \u201cI am taking steps to understand my behavior and make healthier choices.\u201d<\/p>\n Although Ariana didn\u2019t publicly address the controversy<\/a> right away, Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong><\/a> offered an update on how she was doing<\/a> during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em> in March 2023.<\/p>\n \u201cI have seen Ariana and I have [filmed] with her. It\u2019s an integral part of the story now. I would say the word I would use [to describe her] is devastated,\u201d the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em><\/a> alum said before filming the reunion.<\/p>\n
