\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Ted Cruz<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s daughter is breaking her silence after making headlines.<\/p>\n On Tuesday night (December 6), it was reported that Caroline<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 the 14-year-old daughter of the 51-year-old Texas senator \u2013 was rushed to the hospital reportedly due to self-inflicted stab wounds<\/a>.<\/p>\n The following night, Caroline<\/strong> took to TikTok<\/a> to address the situation.<\/p>\n Click inside to read more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI wanted to address this on my own because the media is completely altering the story and causing my mental health to be exploited for their gain,\u201d Caroline<\/strong> started. \u201cHonestly I think it\u2019s sick that they\u2019re using a 14-year-old as a publicity tool.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI also don\u2019t enjoy the assumptions on why I did what I did,\u201d Caroline<\/strong> continued. \u201cNo, it had nothing to do with my sexuality or my father. I\u2019m not suicidal, but I am experiencing some mental issues and I\u2019m working through it and getting the help I need.\u201d<\/p>\n Caroline<\/strong> concluded, \u201cThank you so much for all of the support and love. It means a lot to me, but the most traumatizing part about this experience is how public it\u2019s been. I\u2019m feeling a lot better and I\u2019m so happy to have a great support system, but I would prefer if y\u2019all didn\u2019t make bold statements about what this is when you truly have no idea what is going on.
