\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n One of Bradley Cooper<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s collaborators is opening up about a project that they did together. <\/p>\n More specifically, one of the 49-year-old Oscar-nominated actor\u2019s former directors revealed the movie that Bradley<\/strong> tried to quit after the script was dramatically rewritten. <\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Speaking to Indie Wire<\/a>, director and writer Derek Cianfrance<\/strong> explained that Bradley<\/strong> was unhappy with changes made to the script for The Place Beyond the Pines<\/em>.<\/p>\n He starred in the 2012 movie with the likes of Ryan Gosling<\/strong><\/a> and Eva Mendes<\/strong><\/a>, and it wound up generating positive reviews. <\/p>\n However, Derek<\/strong> explained that Bradley<\/strong> was unhappy with the way that his character was portrayed after some rewriters. <\/p>\n \u201cI remember giving Bradley Cooper<\/strong> the copy of The Place Beyond the Pines<\/em>, the new script, and getting a voice message from him saying, \u2018Bro, I just want to let you know I read the new draft and I\u2019m out,\u2019\u201d he recalled, adding, \u201cHe was like, \u2018That\u2019s not the movie that we had signed up to do.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n Bradley<\/strong> seemingly was not happy that his character killed Ryan<\/strong>\u2018s in the movie. However, Derek<\/strong> was thankfully able to work things out with him.<\/p>\n \u201cI was moving my family up to Schenectady the next day [to be on location] and the whole crew was coming up there. I had all the money anyway,\u201d he said, adding that he reached out to the actor: \u201cI was like, \u2018Can I come talk to you?\u2019 So I went up to Montreal, and I had a long conversation with him from midnight to 3:30 in the morning where I got him back on. It was only in the last five minutes [when I convinced him]. I think he just got tired. He wanted to go to bed.\u201d<\/p>\n
