Police, however, won\u2019t confirm if they saw the lacerations. Instead, TMZ reports police didn\u2019t have enough evidence to charge the shopper.<\/p>\n<p><i>Us Weekly <\/i>has reached out to Charlotte-Mecklenburg PD for additional comment.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this week, Harmon, 51, went on social media and alleged that a man delivering groceries for Instacart pulled a gun on her longtime pet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe got out of his car, delivered the food &amp; THEN shot our dog,\u201d the <i>Rizzoli &amp; Isles <\/i>star wrote via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C5Oes8kO0y_\/?img_index=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Instagram<\/a> on April 1. \u201cThe police let him go b\/c he claimed \u2018self defense.\u2019 He did not have a scratch or bite on him nor were his pants torn.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Harmon\u2014 who is a mom to daughters Finley, 20, Avery, 18, and Emery, 15, with ex-husband <strong>Jason Sehorn<\/strong> \u2014 continued, \u201cHe shot our dog with my daughters &amp; myself at home &amp; just kept saying, \u2018Yeah, I shot your dog. Yeah I did.\u2019 We are completely traumatized &amp; beyond devastated at the loss of our beloved boy &amp; family member.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instacart shared in a statement with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.usatoday.com\/story\/entertainment\/celebrities\/2024\/04\/01\/angie-harmon-dog-instacart-charlotte-north-carolina\/73172429007\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><i>USA Today<\/i><\/a> that they are in contact with Harmon and are cooperating with law enforcement.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C5Oes8kO0y_\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:658px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\">\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWe were deeply saddened and disturbed to hear about this incident,\u201d Instacart told the outlet on April 1. \u201cWe have no tolerance for violence of any kind, and the shopper account was immediately suspended from our platform.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Instacart\u2019s guidelines state an account will be deactivated if the contractor carries a weapon, makes threats of violence or aggressive gestures or harasses customers.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo the man who took Ollie away from us: your actions are despicable and inexcusable,\u201d Harmon said via an Instagram Story. \u201cYou\u2019ve not only robbed us of a beloved member of our family, but you\u2019ve also traumatized us beyond measure.
