Kirsten Dunst<\/strong><\/a> has fond memories of working with Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/a> at the beginning of her career when she was 11 years old.<\/p>\n

Dunst<\/a>, now 41, starred with Pitt, now 60, in the 1994 gothic horror film, Interview with the Vampire<\/em>. The Once Upon a Time in Hollywood<\/em> actor was 30 years old at the time, and she recalls he developed a very special bond with her.<\/p>\n

Pitt was \u201clike an older brother to me,\u201d Dunst told the U.K. outlet The Telegraph<\/em><\/a> in an interview published Tuesday, April 2. \u201c[I was] treated like a princess,\u201d the Spider-Man<\/em> alum<\/a> said. \u201cYes, it was a virtually all-male set, but everyone was very gentle and kind, and nothing ever felt weird.\u201d<\/p>\n

Interview with the Vampire<\/em> also starred Tom Cruise, Christian Slater<\/strong> and Antonio Banderas.<\/strong> Dunst recalled the Mission Impossible<\/em> star, now 61, also treated her like family.<\/p>\n

Interview with the Vampire<\/em> was Dunst\u2019s first starring role after appearing in Woody Allen<\/strong>\u2018s New York Stories<\/em> in 1989, and Brian De Palma<\/strong>\u2018s The Bonfire of the Vanities<\/em> the following year. She earned a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role as child vampire Claudia.<\/p>\n

In the film, Dunst had to kiss the much older Pitt in the film. While promoting the movie in 1994, she admitted to Entertainment Tonight<\/em> that it was extremely uncomfortable.<\/p>\n

\u201cI hated [the kiss] so much because Brad was like my older brother on set and it\u2019s kind of like kissing your brother,\u201d she said. \u201cIt\u2019s weird because he\u2019s an older guy and I had to kiss him on the lips, so it was gross.\u2019<\/p>\n
