Scheana Shay<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s dream to join Dancing With the Stars<\/em><\/a> won\u2019t be cosigned by at least one professional dancer from the show.<\/p>\n

Pro Gleb Savchenko<\/strong><\/a> weighed in on Shay\u2019s recent comments about how she wanted to appear on the dancing competition before her Vanderpump Rules<\/em> <\/a>costar Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a> was offered the gig for season 32.<\/p>\n

\u201cI\u2019m glad Scheana didn\u2019t go [on the show],\u201d Savchenko, 40, told the U.S. Sun<\/em><\/a> on Tuesday, April 2. \u201cI don\u2019t think she would\u2019ve had the same chance as Ariana.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savchenko recalled seeing Shay\u2019s moves on the dance floor before her 2014 wedding to Mike Shay<\/strong><\/a> \u2014 as he choreographed their first dance.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tThe Vanderpump Rules cast is already on a hit series but some of them had their eye on another opportunity \u2014 a chance to be on Dancing With the Stars. When Vanderpump Rules debuted in 2013, fans were introduced to the staff at Lisa Vanderpump\u2019s West Hollywood restaurant SUR, including Stassi Schroeder, Jax Taylor, Kristen [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cI remember it wasn\u2019t easy,\u201d he recalled. \u201cI\u2019m not saying bad things about her. I think Scheana is amazing. I really like her. She\u2019s an awesome girl and everything.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Savchenko, Scheana, 38, didn\u2019t appear to have \u201ca lot of dance experience\u201d at the time, adding, \u201cMaybe she\u2019s improved over the last 10 years and got much better now.\u201d<\/p>\n

Savchenko also offered some advice for others hoping to join<\/a> the show.<\/p>\n

\u201cIf you ever want to be on Dancing With the Stars<\/em> and you feel like you have enough celebrity power to be on a show, whoever that is \u2014 it\u2019s not just Scheana or anybody else \u2014 you should start taking classes,\u201d Savchenko continued. \u201cPeople think, \u2018Oh yeah, we\u2019ll just chill for a couple of hours in the dance studio. I\u2019m going to hang out with this handsome dude who has got a Russian accent, and he\u2019ll be smiling.’\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tScheana Shay and Ariana Madix\u2019s tight friendship has been documented on Vanderpump Rules for years. After making guest appearances on the first two seasons of the Bravo reality series, Madix became a main cast member in 2015. From the beginning, Shay\u2019s bond with Madix served as a contrast to her tumultuous relationships with fellow SUR [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Bravo fans know that Scheana got emotional when Madix, 38, was offered a slot<\/a> over her.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis year, I started taking dance class. I was preparing in case I did get it. It was kind of a punch to the gut, for sure,\u201d Scheana told Lisa Vanderpump during a March episode. \u201cI am so happy for her. But I can be happy for her and sad for me at the same time.\u201d<\/p>\n

Scheana had a similar conversation<\/a> with Lala Kent<\/strong>, saying, \u201cEven her getting Dancing With the Stars, she knew how bad I wanted that. And I told her, \u2018I am so genuinely happy for you. I will be there every f\u2014king Monday that you want me there. She does deserve everything she is getting right now and I am so happy for her that she did not go down a dark spiral. I just am hurting still.\u201d<\/p>\n

She continued: \u201cWhy can I never have one moment where it can be about me? I am hurt. I lost a very, very dear friend. I am struggling with that. But I am not allowed to feel anything because it is only about Ariana. I am tired.\u201d<\/p>\n
