\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Dakota Fanning<\/strong><\/a> is opening up about one of her big life goals.<\/p>\n The 30-year-old actress has been acting for most of her life now, but there is one role she has yet to take on and it\u2019s \u201cprobably more important\u201d than most others.<\/p>\n While speaking to Porter<\/a><\/em>, the Ripley <\/em>star dished on her career and shared her desire to have children.<\/p>\n Keep reading to see what she said\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cBeing an actor is a huge part of my identity. I don\u2019t really know who I am without it,\u201d Dakota<\/strong> told the site. \u201cBut I also have a desire to set up my life and career so that I always have a choice.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cHaving kids is probably more important to me than anything, even being an actor,\u201d she adds. \u201cIf somebody said I had to choose, I would choose having kids. I\u2019m one of those people who has always felt that pull.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t know how I\u2019ll feel when that time in my life comes \u2013 and how much I\u2019ll want to work. But, because I don\u2019t have that at the moment, I\u2019m trying to take advantage of the adventures now,\u201d Dakota<\/strong> continues. \u201cI\u2019m trying to push myself to keep saying yes to things that make me uncomfortable, to keep going to places for long periods of time that maybe I\u2019m scared to do because \u2013 God willing \u2013 one day, it won\u2019t be as easy.\u201d<\/p>\n Dakota<\/strong> has two projects coming out. The limited series Ripley<\/em><\/a> debuts on Netflix on Thursday (April 4), while her new movie The Watchers<\/em><\/a> will hit theaters on June 7th!<\/p>\n The actress\u2019 younger sister Elle Fanning<\/strong><\/a> showed her support for Dakota <\/strong>at a screening of Ripley<\/em> <\/a>last week.<\/p>\n <\/span><\/p><\/div>\n
