Kristen Doute<\/strong><\/a> opened up about getting back in front of Bravo cameras amid Ariana Madix<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s split from Tom Sandoval<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The Vanderpump Rules<\/em><\/a> alum, 40, claimed during the Thursday, March 16, episode of the \u201cViall Files\u201d podcast<\/a> that Ariana, 37, personally requested<\/a> that Kristen join her on season 10 as the drama develops. \u201cI filmed that scene because Ariana specifically said, \u2018I really need you to do this for me,’\u201d Kristen told the former Bachelor, 42. \u201cI told her, \u2018I have nothing to gain from this. I, in fact, will probably look like an opportunist or thirsty.’\u201d<\/p>\n She continued: \u201cI specifically said to her, \u2018This has nothing to do with the network, the production, the ratings, whatever. What do you need? Because you\u2019ve also now had to talk about this a million times with so many people, on and off camera. So if this is just one more time you don\u2019t wanna do that, I don\u2019t need to do it.\u2019 She wanted me to, so I did.\u201d<\/p>\n Us Weekly<\/em> confirmed<\/a> earlier this month that Ariana and Tom, 40, called it quits after nine years of dating due to his affair with costar Raquel Leviss<\/strong><\/a>. Kristen, who was fired from the Bravo hit in June 2020<\/a> for past racist behavior, was later spotted visiting Ariana<\/a> amid the breakup. When the reality show resumed production on season 10, Us<\/em> confirmed that the Michigan native filmed<\/a> with her former costars.<\/p>\n \u201cThe cameras haven\u2019t stopped rolling,\u201d a source exclusively told Us<\/em> as the controversy continued. \u201cIt\u2019s not an understatement to say this will be the most explosive season of Vanderpump Rules<\/em> ever.\u201d<\/p>\n Shortly after news broke that Kristen was rejoining the Bravo stars<\/a> for a scene, Lisa Vanderpump<\/strong><\/a> weighed in on the development \u2014 and threw a little shade at her former SUR employee<\/a>. When asked whether her opinion of Kristen had changed since her departure from the series, Lisa, 62, told Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen<\/em><\/a> viewers on March 8, \u201cLet me think about that for a moment, no.\u201d<\/p>\n The He\u2019s Making You Crazy<\/em> author seemingly responded<\/a> via her Instagram Story after the apparent diss, writing, \u201cWord on the street is that tonight\u2019s #WWHL guest s\u2014t on me, again\u2026? Dear Guest, why are you so obsessed with me? Xoxo Kristen.\u201d<\/p>\n While she may not be Lisa\u2019s biggest fan \u2014 or vice versa \u2014 Kristen commanded the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills<\/em> alum for supporting Ariana \u201coff camera\u201d<\/a> throughout her breakup. \u201cAriana has said that Lisa\u2019s welcomed her with open arms, like, \u2018You can come bring your dog and your cat, you can come stay at Villa Rosa,’\u201d she said. \u201cAriana\u2019s like, \u2018S\u2013t, do I do that? That sounds fabulous.\u2019 \u2026 She needs all the love and support she can get<\/a>, whether it\u2019s from someone I don\u2019t like or not.\u201d<\/p>\n The James Mae T-shirt designer has been expressing her unfiltered opinions<\/a> on the scandal since news broke of her ex\u2019s infidelity. Learning about anti-racism.
