King Charles III<\/strong> has reportedly been eager to return to royal duties, with one family member saying<\/a> he\u2019s been \u201chugely frustrated\u201d that treatments for an unspecified cancer have left him on the sidelines. But on Sunday, he\u2019ll step back into the public eye for one of his first appearances<\/a> since his diagnosis earlier this year<\/a>, albeit with notable adjustments to protect his health.<\/p>\n Every Easter Sunday, the family gathers at<\/a> Windsor Castle for services at St. George\u2019s, the chapel on the palace grounds. This year, Charles will keep up with that tradition to attend church, Buckingham Palace has confirmed<\/a>. Queen Camilla<\/strong> will also attend the Easter Day Mattins Service<\/a>, her second stop at church in recent days: in an historic first, she stood in for the king<\/a> at the Royal Maundy Service at Worcester Cathedral on Thursday, though Charles did send a pre-recorded message<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cIt is, for me, a great sadness that I cannot be with you today,\u201d he told congregants via an audio message played at the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n One hopes that sadness will abate on Sunday when he is expected to lead a \u201csmaller than usual contingent\u201d of royals to and from the chapel, the Telegraph<\/em> reports<\/a>, characterizing this year\u2019s event as \u201cEaster Lite.\u201d He is expected to enter the church through Galilee Porch, and will\u2014assuming the weather is fair\u2014greet those gathered from a distance.
