Fans need to keep holding out hope for a collaboration between Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a> and Beyonc\u00e9<\/strong><\/a> because it didn\u2019t happen on Cowboy Carter<\/em>.<\/p>\n

After Beyonc\u00e9, 42, released her new country album on Friday, March 29, fans speculated that a voice that sounds like Swift\u2019s could be heard harmonizing in the background 12 seconds into the song \u201cBodyguard.\u201d<\/p>\n

Spotify and Apple Music didn\u2019t provide credits for the album, which created even more intrigue on social media. However, Billboard\u2019s music executive director Jason Lipshutz<\/strong> took to X<\/a> on Friday to confirm that Swift, 34, didn\u2019t provide vocals on the album. People subsequently reported the same.<\/p>\n

While Swift is not on Cowboy Carter, Beyonc\u00e9 delivered an album full of memorable collaborations<\/a> including Linda Martell, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Stevie Wonder, Post Malone, Miley Cyrus, Jon Batiste<\/strong> and more.<\/p>\n
