Rebel Wilson<\/strong> <\/a>claims in her new memoir, Rebel Rising<\/i>, that she thinks Adele<\/strong><\/a> \u201chates\u201d her, Us Weekly<\/i> can confirm.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome actresses would get offended if I called them plus-size in this book, so I have to be careful with what I say. This is why, I think, Adele hates me,\u201d Wilson, 44, wrote in her book<\/a>, which comes out on Tuesday, April 2. \u201cThere was a moment when she was bigger, and some people would confuse us for one another \u2026 I am assuming, because to be fair I\u2019ve never asked her.\u201d<\/p>\n

According to Wilson, she and the 35-year-old singer had crossed paths at a few public events. Whenever the Pitch Perfect <\/i>actress walked toward Adele, the Grammy winner allegedly would \u201calways quickly\u201d turn away.<\/p>\n

\u201cAs if my fatness might rub off on her if I were near her for more than thirty seconds. That she didn\u2019t like being compared to \u2018Fat Amy,\u2019\u201d Wilson claimed, referring to her Pitch Perfect <\/i>character.<\/p>\n

The franchise wrapped in 2017, nearly four years before Wilson underwent a \u201cYear of Health\u201d and lost more than 70 pounds.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt first started when I was looking into fertility stuff and the doctor was like, \u2018Well, you\u2019d have a much better chance if you were healthier,\u2019\u201d she said during a July 2021 Instagram Live<\/a>. \u201cThat\u2019s kind of what started it, that if I lost some excess weight that it would give me a better chance for freezing eggs and having the eggs be a better quality. It wasn\u2019t even really myself, it was more thinking of a future mini-me, really.\u201d<\/p>\n
