Kanye West<\/a> is the reason she dressed like a \u201csexpot\u201d when they were together.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old model and rapper rose to fame partly due to her revealing outfits while she was seeing Kanye, 46, from 2008 to 2010, and has now spoken out about how the controversy plagued musician told her he wanted her to dress \u201csexy\u201d \u2013 amid reports he is forcing his wife Bianca Censori, 29, to flaunt her body in outrageous outfits.<\/p>\n
Amber told the \u2018Just B with Bethenny Frankel\u2019 podcast: \u201cI am conservative actually. I have always been conservative since I was young.\u201d<\/p>\n
Revealing she was transformed into a \u201csexpot type of girl\u201d when she was with Kanye, adding: \u201cThat was my first relationship with a celebrity ever but also in the public eye. <\/p>\n
\u201cAnd he knows a lot about fashion and he always wanted me to dress very sexy.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAmber added she was \u201cyoung\u201d and impressionable when she was with the rapper, but went along with it even though she knew she wasn\u2019t being true to herself.<\/p>\n
\nShe said even after she split from Kanye she could not get rid of her \u201csexy\u201d persona, and ended up feeling \u201cpigeonholed\u201d in the entertainment industry.<\/p>\n
\nAmber added: \u201cSo when I was out on my own \u2013 without my first relationship that kind of brought me to the light \u2013 that\u2019s what they wanted from me.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI would have producers saying, \u2018We want to do this video for MTV and we want you at the pool, with a bikini on, martini in your hand.\u2019 <\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd I\u2019m like, \u2018Ugh, I\u2019m so not her. Like, I\u2019m so not her and I get what I come off as but I am so not her.\u2019<\/p>\n
\n\u201cAnd they\u2019re like, \u2018Well I guess you don\u2019t want to do it then.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n
\nAmber also said she \u201ccringes\u201d when she reflects on her early years of fame, adding: \u201cIt was like I remember fighting so hard to not be that person and no one would let me.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
