The Amazing Race<\/em><\/a> season 36 contestants Anthony Smith<\/strong> and Bailey Smith<\/strong> couldn\u2019t make up their minds during their final episode on the reality competition series.<\/p>\n

The 26-year-old twin brothers switched detour challenges a staggering three times during the Wednesday, March 27, episode before finally committing to cooking a Colombian dish over carefully stacking a tower of items on the back of a Jeep.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were tired, and I don\u2019t know, it was just, like, a panic thing,\u201d Bailey exclusively told Us Weekly<\/em> on Thursday, March 28. \u201cWatching it back now, it\u2019s hilarious. I\u2019m like, \u2018Wow. We should have really just chilled out for a second.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n

Anthony, meanwhile, shed some light on what the pair found so daunting about the cooking detour.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe do cook, but the whole instruction, the whole thing was in Spanish, and that scared us off pretty hard,\u201d he said when explaining their \u201cindecisiveness.\u201d<\/p>\n

The CBS game show follows teams of two as they race around the world completing various tasks and mental challenges in hopes of winning $1 million. [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Once the brothers put their minds to the cooking challenge, they did well, but they\u2019d already lost a lot of time. Bailey told Us<\/em> that the experience provided a \u201cgood life lesson\u201d not to count yourself out so quickly.<\/p>\n

\u201cBelieve in yourself more, especially when you\u2019re stressed out in certain situations,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n

Anthony added: \u201cIf you make a decision, just stick with it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Despite being at the back of the pack for the majority of the episode, Anthony and Bailey enjoyed themselves, pausing to appreciate a water taxi ride and to admire a beautiful local bird while picking berries.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think for us, that\u2019s the only way we can live,\u201d Bailey said of the duo\u2019s relaxed demeanor on the show. \u201cThere\u2019s so many stressful things in life in general, and just to take everything on like, \u2018We\u2019re here, we\u2019re doing it, we\u2019re going to enjoy the time\u2019 \u2014 I think that\u2019s the only thing you can do.\u201d<\/p>\n

Anthony chimed in: \u201cWe have goals and ambitions with life, but every single day, we try to just enjoy that day for what it is.\u201d<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tManeuvering through the roadblocks! From its debut in 2001, The Amazing Race has been a huge hit for CBS. When the Primetime Emmys added the Outstanding Reality-Competition Program category 2003, it became a staple, winning 10 out of its 15 nominations and averaging nearly 10 million viewers per season. The show hit its own bump [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

The twins\u2019 positive attitude was perfectly summed up during the final moment of the episode. After host Phil Keoghan<\/strong> told them they\u2019d been eliminated from the race and right before the credits rolled, Anthony said, \u201cThis is pretty chill.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cIt was a pretty chill view, I will say,\u201d Anthony quipped to Us<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In addition to thoroughly enjoying their time on the show, Bailey and Anthony have maintained strong bonds with their fellow contestants. They\u2019re particularly close with father-daughter duo Chis Foster<\/strong> and Mary Cardona-Foster<\/strong><\/a>, who came to visit them in Florida after filming ended.<\/p>\n
