\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Penn Badgley<\/strong><\/a> is sharing some very rare insight into his family life.<\/p>\n If you didn\u2019t know, the 37-year-old You<\/em> actor married wife Domino Kirke<\/strong><\/a> in 2017 and the two share a 3-year-old son. Domino<\/strong>, 40, also shares son Cassius<\/strong>, 15, with ex Morgan O\u2019Kane<\/strong>.<\/p>\n In a new interview, Penn<\/strong> spoke candidly about his \u201cvery different\u201d roles as a dad and a stepdad.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u201cI have an interesting situation where I have a biological son and a stepson,\u201d Penn<\/strong> shared on New York Times<\/em>\u2018 Modern Love<\/em> podcast<\/a>. \u201cAnd my stepson is \u2014 his father is very much in his life, so his father is his father, and I\u2019m something else.\u201d<\/p>\n Penn<\/strong> also said that his approach to parenting the boys is \u201cvery different\u201d since there is a 12-year age gap between them.<\/p>\n \u201cSo I have two different kind of parental roles,\u201d Penn<\/strong> explained. \u201cMy biological son is only 3 and a half. So, that\u2019s a very different thing, too. I need to be able to more consciously show him my vulnerability as he gets older in those years.\u201d<\/p>\n Penn<\/strong> also noted that since Cassius <\/strong>is a teenager, he \u201cdoesn\u2019t want to spend that much time with us anyway.\u201d<\/p>\n While he admitted he struggled to form a bond with Cassius<\/strong>, Penn<\/strong> credited Tom Cruise<\/strong><\/a>\u2018s 2014 sci-fi action epic Edge of Tomorrow<\/em> for helping them connect.<\/p>\n \u201cI just knew it was important. It was like the stars had aligned so that my wife and my youngest son were asleep, and I was just like, \u2018This is a good time to do this! You\u2019re not going to play video games now.
