Jack Antonoff<\/strong><\/a> refused to answer a question regarding his frequent collaborator Taylor Swift<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n The 39-year-old Grammy award-winning artist, writer and producer has had a long-standing friendship and working relationship with the 34-year-old entertainer, dating all the way back to 2013.<\/p>\n During a recent interview with a Dutch news outlet, Jack<\/strong> shut down the interview when asked about working on a certain Taylor Swift<\/strong> project.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n When the outlet, NRC<\/a><\/em>, asked if Jack<\/strong> had worked on Taylor<\/strong>\u2018s upcoming album The Tortured Poets Department<\/strong><\/a><\/em>, he immediately refused to answer and shut down that conversation.<\/p>\n \u201cYou know I don\u2019t talk about that. If you\u2019re looking for clickbait, you\u2019ve come to the wrong place. Thank you for this conversation,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n Jack<\/strong> did, however, talk about how his upcoming Bleachers<\/strong> album compares to working with friends like Taylor<\/strong> and Lana Del Rey<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n \u201cI don\u2019t see it as producing,\u201d he told the publication. \u201cI create music with my friends. It comes as it comes. I\u2019m not the kind of producer who likes to give commands from behind a mixing console. I concern myself with the music itself; the way in which you can manage the creative process.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cSuccess is a strange phenomenon. It distracts attention from the ordinary mechanisms that lead to good pop music,\u201d Jack<\/strong> added. \u201cBeing able to listen to each other well is one thing.
