Therefore, Stephen felt it was only proper to apologize for his remarks. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s a standard that I try to hold myself to, and that is I do not make light of somebody else\u2019s tragedy,\u201d Stephen said.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-stephen-colbert-in-trouble-over-kate-middleton-joke\">Stephen Colbert In Trouble Over Kate Middleton Joke?<\/h2>\n<p>\u201cNow, I don\u2019t know whether her prognosis is a tragic one,\u201d Stephen added, before sending his very best to the Princess.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut far too many of us know that any cancer diagnosis of any kind is harrowing for the patient and for their family. She has categorically denied the claims, and was rightfully miffed when Stephen name dropped her in his monologue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, I think we all know who the alleged other woman is,\u201d Stephen said. \u201cSay it with me \u2013\u2013 the Marchioness of Cholmondeley \u2013\u2013 what a beautiful name!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Was this apology was also meant for her and will smooth things over with Lady Rose? Only time will tell with that. <\/p>\n<h2 id=\"h-more-celebrities-apologize-to-kate-middleton\">More Celebrities Apologize To Kate Middleton<\/h2>\n<p>But Stephen wasn\u2019t the only star eating his words after her cancer revelation. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/blake-lively-apology-kate-middleton-cancer-photoshop-fail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Blake Lively<\/a> also issued an apology after she took a subtle jab at Kate\u2019s disappearance and photoshop scandal. While promoting her alcohol brand, Betty Buzz, she alluded to being \u201cMIA\u201d herself and made a quip about altering photos.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, many royal fans are calling on Kim Kardashian to issue her own apology to the Princess. Kim joked she was on her way to \u2018go find Kate\u2019 amid the rampant conspiracy theories.<\/p>\n<p>Fans are displeased with the reality star making light of Kate\u2019s disappearance, but they may be left further disappointed.  It doesn\u2019t look like Kim K is inclined to say anything at this point.
