Katy Perry<\/a> is in awe of <\/span>Kelly Clarkson<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The “Roar” singer took to Instagram to respond to Clarkson — who covered Perry’s 2012 hit, “Wide Awake,” during an episode of <\/span>The Kelly Clarkson Show<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n Clarkson, known for her powerhouse vocals, showcased her talent once again by delivering a captivating rendition of Perry’s track as part of her regular segment on the show “Kellyoke.” Posting a clip of her performance on Instagram, Clarkson ignited a wave of reactions, including one from Perry herself.<\/span><\/p>\n “Ok dang I can never sing that again,” Perry commented on Clarkson’s post.<\/span><\/p>\n This cover comes amidst Perry’s recent foray into 2000s nostalgia, marked by her fashion statement at Billboard’s Women in Music celebration. Perry made heads turn at the event with her crimson corset ensemble by designer Ellie Misner.
