\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Juan Pablo Galavis<\/strong><\/a> was a proud dad during the latest episode of American Idol<\/strong><\/a><\/em>!<\/p>\n The 42-year-old former star of The Bachelor<\/strong><\/a><\/em> supported his 14-year-old daughter Camila Galavis<\/strong> as she auditioned for the singing competition in front of judges Lionel Richie<\/strong><\/a>, Katy Perry<\/strong><\/a> and Luke Bryan<\/strong><\/a>, in the episode airing Sunday night (March 24).<\/p>\n While talking about herself and answering questions to get to know her, Camila<\/strong> revealed who her father is, and she brought him out to meet the judges.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n Juan Pablo <\/strong>noted that he didn\u2019t necessarily want her to audition and tried to hold off as long as possibly, but Camila<\/strong> really wanted it.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen the opportunity came, and she wanted to do it, I was like, \u2018I don\u2019t know if you\u2019re old enough.\u2019 That was last year,\u201d he said. \u201cThey say, well, maybe next year and then, here she is, so, we\u2019ll see how it goes.\u201d<\/p>\n Camila<\/strong> performed \u201cRabia\u201d by Joaquina <\/strong>and the judges noted how young she is and how much development she needs with her voice.<\/p>\n Lionel <\/strong>gave her a \u201cno\u201d for those reasons, including the lack of experience. She then got a yes from Katy<\/strong>, and Luke<\/strong> noted he initially was going to say no, but he said yes!<\/p>\n While the judges gave their critiques, the camera panned to Juan Pablo<\/strong> multiple times and he had tears in his eyes. After Camila<\/strong> got the yes to advance to Hollywood, he had a big smile on his face.
