The news comes from <strong>Peter Phillips<\/strong>, the son of <strong>Princess Anne<\/strong> and ex-husband <strong>Captain Mark Phillips<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Phillips spoke <a href=\"https:\/\/www.townandcountrymag.com\/society\/tradition\/a34165347\/princess-anne-ex-husband-mark-phillips-facts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">with Sky News Australia<\/a> shortly before <strong>Catherine, Princess of Wales<\/strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/style\/kate-middleton-cancer-diagnosis\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">announced that she had also<\/a> been diagnosed with cancer, the news agency says. The full conversation with the king\u2019s nephew was broadcast on Australian television on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">Phillips, the first grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Phillip, was fifth in line for the crown prior to the birth of his cousins and their kids. He\u2019s frustrated that he can\u2019t get on and do everything that he wants to be able to do.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">This isn\u2019t the first time Charles\u2019s demeanor has been characterized as both \u201cpragmatic\u201d and \u201cfrustrated.\u201d Sources close to the king <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vanityfair.com\/style\/king-charles-frustrated-cancer-diagnosis-is-keeping-him-from-public-duties\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">shared that same sentiment<\/a> with Vanity Fair last month, saying then that \u201cThe king is both pragmatic and optimistic,&#8221; but is also \u201cfrustrated\u201d by his diagnosis.<\/p>\n<p class=\"paywall\">According to Phillips, Charles \u201cis always pushing his staff and everybody and his doctors and nurses to be able to say \u2018actually come on, you know, can I do this?
