Liam Gallagher’s health kick<\/p>\n
The 51-year-old rocker admitted he didn’t care about taking care of himself when he was younger but he has now given up alcohol, cigarettes and drugs in a bid to turn back the clock and deal with health ailments including arthritis and an autoimmune condition.<\/p>\n
Liam told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: “You\u2019ve got to undo all the bad work you\u2019ve done through getting off your head and all that.<\/p>\n
“It\u2019s time to undo it all now and get back to reality.<\/p>\n
“All that stuff that you thought was cool in the early days\u2009.\u2009.\u2009.\u2009it\u2019s time to get healthy.<\/p>\n
\nAs you get older, life is precious, do you know what I mean? When you are younger you don\u2019t care. But as you get older, you\u2019re getting closer to wherever you\u2019re meant to be going.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd, Liam admitted he doesn’t love getting older.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I have my days when I\u2019m buzzing about everything and then I have days when I\u2019m just like, \u2018This is [terrible]\u2019, as in life \u2014 you know what I mean?<\/p>\n
\n“Even though I\u2019ve got everything, I mean, it\u2019s just not enough.<\/p>\n
\n“Sometimes I just want the answers now \u2014 where are we going, why are we here, what are we doing? But it\u2019s just not possible.”<\/p>\n
\nAnd, Liam has also swapped late-night partying for early mornings.<\/p>\n
\nHe said: “I\u2019m a pretty happy-go-lucky guy. I love waking up early in the morning.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cRound about six or seven I start nodding off. But early doors I\u2019m up four o\u2019clock in the morning \u2014 come on!<\/p>\n
\n“Just sit around at the end of the bed thinking. I\u2019m a thinker.”<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
