Sydney Sweeney<\/strong><\/a> played coy when answering questions about the third season of Euphoria<\/em>, comparing it to the high-level secrecy of Marvel movies.<\/p>\n

During the \u201cSydney Sweeney in Conversation with Josh Horowitz<\/strong>\u201d event at The 92nd Street Y in New York City on Wednesday, March 20, Sweeney, who portrays Cassie Howard in the HBO Max series, was asked for a status update on Euphoria<\/em> season 3. The event was a live taping of Horowitz\u2019s \u201cHappy Sad Confused\u201d podcast<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u201cHonestly, it\u2019s, like, as scary as talking about Marvel,\u201d Sweeney joked, comparing Euphoria<\/em> to the notoriously secretive comic book movie franchise. \u201cI said one thing, and it went everywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sweeney made her Marvel debut<\/a> as Julia Cornwall, a variation of Spider-Woman, in Sony\u2019s Madame Web<\/em> starring Dakota Johnson<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tEuphoria\u2018s season 2 finale introduced many twists and turns that ended with the audience having more questions than answers. Even though the entire season hinted at Fez\u2019s (Angus Cloud) potential demise, it was actually his little brother that ended up dying after they were sold out to the police. Instead of allowing Fez to take [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Earlier this month, Sweeney shared with Horowitz in a separate conversation that she wouldn\u2019t be taking much time off after Madame Web<\/em>, Anyone But You<\/em> and her new horror movie, Immaculate<\/em>. \u201cI go into Euphoria<\/em>,\u201d she said on March 16. \u201cI always feel like I go home. It\u2019s like home when I go back to it.\u201d<\/p>\n

For some fans, this indicated that the next season of the Zendaya<\/strong>-led drama series would begin filming soon, as the next installment isn\u2019t expected to be released until 2025<\/a>. People<\/em> confirmed in November 2023 that production on season 3 would begin in 2024.<\/p>\n
