Jenna Bush Hager<\/strong><\/a> has been playing matchmaker and helping Hoda Kotb<\/strong><\/a> find love.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have a good method for hooking people up,\u201d Bush Hager, 42, shared on NBC\u2019s Today with Hoda & Jenna<\/em><\/a> on Friday, March 22. \u201cHere it is \u2026 and I\u2019m utilizing this currently with a good friend of mine.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager then proceeded to reveal that the friend she was referring to was wearing \u201ca white starch shirt,\u201d which happened to be what Kotb, 57, was dressed in.<\/p>\n

Kotb started to laugh as she playfully touched her top as the camera zoomed in on her smiling.<\/p>\n

\n\t\t\tHoda Kotb has shared many life milestones \u2014 both triumphant and difficult \u2014 with TV audiences for years. The Today anchor began her tenure on the morning show in 2007 when cohosting Today With Kathie Lee & Hoda. The 10 a.m. slot quickly became a fan favorite, with viewers loving Kotb\u2019s sunny persona and positive [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

\u201cSo, here\u2019s what you do,\u201d Bush Hager explained. \u201cYou don\u2019t just go, cause here\u2019s what happens: you end up asking the same people, like \u2018Hey, Henry! Who\u2019s cute at your work that would be good for Hoda?\u2019 \u2018Hey\u2026ba ba ba\u2026.\u2019 Same, same people. You stop that. You go outside your zone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Bush Hager then went on to point out that she had had success doing that before when she ended up setting up Libby Leist<\/strong>, the executive vice president of Today<\/em> and NBC News<\/em>, with her now-husband, Sayan Ray<\/strong>. \u201cSo, with Libby, I texted three people, my sister who [was] in graduate school. One friend that had just moved to Connecticut, so I had a whole new different world, and another friend that had just moved out of the city too,\u201d she noted. \u201cAnd guess what? One of the friends had somebody. So ask outside of your zone.\u201d<\/p>\n

Kotb nodded in agreement and said that she thought that was the key to finding someone.<\/p>\n

\u201cRight. You\u2019re right, because if you keep looking and going to the same three places, [they\u2019re] like, \u2018I don\u2019t know anybody at work.\u2019 \u2018I don\u2019t have a single friend,\u2019\u201d she added.<\/p>\n

Bush Hager then expressed that she had started to get frustrated when she had been asking around previously trying to set up her coworker with someone in Manhattan because no one she reached out to at first could think of anyone who would be a good fit for Kotb.<\/p>\n
