\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n Will Smith<\/strong><\/a> joins co-stars Charmaine Bingwa<\/strong><\/a> and Ben Foster<\/strong><\/a> on the red carpet for the European premiere of Emancipation<\/em><\/strong> held at Vue West End on Friday night (December 2) in London, England.<\/p>\n The trio of stars were joined by many others, including Ben<\/strong>\u2018s wife, actress Laura Prepon<\/strong><\/a>, and director Antoine Fuqua<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n In a recent interview, Antoine <\/strong>opened up about the conversation he had with Apple about the movie, following the incident<\/a> at the 2022 Oscars involving Will<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Click inside to read more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n \u201cThey were very sensitive to myself, to Will, to all the people who worked on the movie,\u201d Antoine <\/strong>explained to Vanity Fair<\/em><\/a>. \u201cThere was never a conversation with me and Apple or my producers, Todd Black and Jon Mone or Heather Washington, about the movie not coming out.\u201d<\/p>\n He added that \u201cit was more about, \u2018We\u2019re assessing everything. We\u2019re seeing what people are saying.\u2019 They were very careful about it. Then we showed the film to some people and their reactions were really positive, and we discussed it along the way.\u201d<\/p>\n Antoine <\/strong>praised Apple\u2019s decision in the release. <\/p>\n \u201cI think Apple considered all those things, and we discussed a lot of those things. Then a decision was made by the people in charge of distribution and the money at Apple \u2014 and I\u2019m grateful, I\u2019m really grateful,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
