Shanna Moakler<\/b><\/a> praises how son <\/span>Landon Barker<\/b><\/a> and ex-girlfriend <\/span>Charli D\u2019Amelio<\/b><\/a> handled their public split while exclusively speaking to Life & Style<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cI think they both handled it very maturely and as adults,\u201d Shanna, 48, tells Life & Style<\/em> about Landon, 20, and Charli, 19, adding that she and Landon haven\u2019t spoken too much about the situation.<\/p>\n The former couple announced their split in February<\/a> after more than one year of dating. \u201cHey everyone, I would like to let you know that Charli and I are no longer together,\u201d Landon wrote via his Instagram Stories at the time. \u201cWe broke up to focus on ourselves. We are still friends and have so much love for each other. I am incredibly grateful for the time we shared and hope you can respect our decisions. Thank you, love you all so much!\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cI think their statement they made publicly shows that they\u2019re both amicable and they\u2019re good friends<\/a>,\u201d Shanna continues, adding that Landon and Charli are \u201cboth young\u201d and \u201cyou never know what can happen in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n The model shares that she\u2019s \u201cvery proud of the way that they handled it<\/a>,\u201d noting that it can be difficult to end a relationship in the public eye. However, she states that they handled it \u201cmuch more mature than\u201d she would have at their age.<\/p>\n In addition to Landon, Shanna shares daughter Alabama Barker<\/b><\/a> with ex-husband <\/span>Travis Barker<\/b><\/a>. She is also the mother to Atiana De La Hoya<\/strong> with ex Oscar De La Hoya<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Landon and Charli started dating in June 2022<\/a>, and were so serious that he got a tattoo of Charli\u2019s eye on his arm in June 2023. Despite clearly being in love, they also faced roadblocks in their relationship and revealed they briefly split during an October 2023 episode of The D\u2019Amelio Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n \u201cLandon said, \u2018Char just broke up with me,\u2019\u201d Charli\u2019s sister, Dixie D\u2019Amelio<\/strong>, explained during the episode, recalling the messages she exchanged with the \u201cFriends With Your Ex\u201d singer at the time. \u201cI said, \u2018What the f\u2013k happened?\u2019\u201d Texts on the screen showed Landon explaining that he \u201cdid some bulls\u2013t\u201d and didn\u2019t \u201cwanna drag you into it.\u201d<\/p>\n The pair reconciled soon after, and fans didn\u2019t learn they briefly called it quits<\/a> until the episode aired.<\/p>\n Not only did Shanna praise how Landon and Charli handled their split, but the reality star also teased her upcoming birthday party at Crazy Horse 3<\/a> in Las Vegas on Friday, March 22. \u201cI actually celebrated my birthday there 10 years ago,\u201d she tells Life & Style<\/em> about the venue. \u201cI absolutely love my Crazy Horse family over there.
