Another X user quipped, \u201cJoni mitchell making more noise on the TL than any pop star this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While all of Mitchell\u2019s classic albums are now back on the platform, some of them are hiding in an unusual spot. Albums released before 1980, including 1971\u2019s <em>Blue<\/em> and 1972\u2019s <em>For the Roses<\/em>, are located under the \u201ccompilations\u201d tab on a playlist titled \u201cThe Studio Albums 1968-1979.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As of Thursday, Mitchell, 80, has yet to make a statement about what made her change her tune and rejoin. The mid-\u201990s saw hip-hop transform, regaining some of its edge and danger. The West Coast had already made a claim as king of the genre in the early \u201990s, prompting New [\u2026]\t\t<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Her abrupt actions were in protest of the company continuing to distribute \u201cThe Joe Rogan Experience\u201d podcast. At the time, Mitchell accused <strong>Joe Rogan<\/strong> of spreading misinformation about the COVID-19 pandemic and vaccines on his podcast.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve decided to remove all my music from Spotify,\u201d the nine time Grammy winner wrote in a\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/jonimitchell.com\/news\/newsitem.cfm?id=1592\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement published<\/a> on her website. \u201cIrresponsible people are spreading lies that are costing people their lives. I stand in solidarity with <strong>Neil Young<\/strong> and the global scientific and medical communities on this issue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Young, 78, left the platform shortly before Mitchell that same month.
