To say that I\u2019m disappointed is an understatement,\u201d the reality star\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C4x0c-fLbMe\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">wrote via Instagram\u00a0<\/a>on March 21.<\/p>\n<p>Annemarie was a newcomer in Season 13,  introduced as Kyle Richards\u2019 friend halfway. She immediately had friction with Sutton Stracke and Crystal Kung Minkoff, but was generally liked by the rest of the ladies.<\/p>\n<p>What would come from those relationships now will never been seen.<\/p>\n<p>Interestingly, Annemarie used her message to fans to point out that she \u201cnever auditioned\u201d to be on the hit Bravo show, and claimed she was asked to star on it \u201cout of the blue\u201d \u2013 and six weeks \u201cafter the cast had already started filming.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was very excited about the opportunity, and I thought following exactly what I was instructed to do throughout filming the last season was the way the \u2018game was played.\u2019 Listening to what I was instructed to do was my rookie mistake,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/C4x0c-fLbMe\/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\" style=\" background:#FFF; border:0; border-radius:3px; box-shadow:0 0 1px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.5),0 1px 10px 0 rgba(0,0,0,0.15); margin: 1px; max-width:540px; min-width:326px; padding:0; width:99.375%; width:-webkit-calc(100% - 2px); width:calc(100% - 2px);\"\/>\n<h2 id=\"h-why-was-annemarie-fired\">Why Was Annemarie Fired?<\/h2>\n<p>The \u201crookie mistake\u201d she cryptically alluded too has fans puzzled and contemplating why she would be let go after just one season.<\/p>\n<p>Fans generally liked her, though there was the incident with Sutton Stracke over the size of Stracke\u2019s esophagus that made many cringe.<\/p>\n<p>Could that have been her downfall? If it was, Annemarie made light of it in her farewell message. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cContrary to what was shown on TV, I am not obsessed with the esophagus!
