Now that Quiet on Set: The Dark Side of Kids TV,<\/em> an Investigation Discovery docuseries about alleged abuse and exploitation at kids\u2019 network Nickelodeon<\/a>, has aired in full, the once-celebrated network mogul Dan Schneider<\/strong> is apologizing on camera for the first time.\u00a0<\/p>\n Schneider, who has long faced toxicity allegations<\/a> and parted ways with Nickelodeon in 2018, previously shared a statement regarding the docuseries<\/a> with Vanity Fair,<\/em> but went into more detail in a newly released video. He is interviewed by BooG!e,<\/strong> who played the character of T-Bo on Schneider\u2019s iCarly.<\/em> The performer said he approached the producer after watching Quiet on Set.<\/em> \u201cBooG!e wants to make clear though that he is not a journalist and wasn\u2019t trying to be,\u201d a spokesperson for Schneider tells VF.<\/em> \u201cHe was offering to provide a platform for Dan to confront a lot of his previous behaviors.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWatching over the past two nights was very difficult,\u201d Schneider began in the sit-down. \u201cMe facing my past behaviors, some of which are embarrassing and that I regret. I definitely owe some people a pretty strong apology.\u201d He continued, \u201cWhen I watched the show, I could see the hurt in some people\u2019s eyes, and it made me feel awful and regretful and sorry. I wish I could go back, especially to those earlier years of my career, and bring the growth and the experience that I have now, and just do a better job. And never, ever feel like it was okay to be an asshole to anyone, ever.\u201d<\/p>\n
