How did this feud begin?<\/p>\n<p>Viewers have spent ages investing themselves in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/03\/daisy-kent-meet-the-hearing-impaired-fan-favorite-on-the-bachelor\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Joey\u2019s <em>The Bachelor<\/em> journey<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, on Monday night, the Bachelor Nation found their intended show preempted by Oprah Winfrey\u2019s advocacy for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2023\/12\/danielle-cabral-condemns-ozempic-misuse-for-weight-loss-run-on-a-f-king-treadmill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">dubious weight loss medications<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Branding the town fall event an \u201cOzempic infomercial,\u201d Bachelor fans are rioting. It instead aired at 9 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Oprah Winfrey pushed it aside, filling the 8 PM timeslot with a town hall style ABC special: <em>Shame, Blame, and the Weight Loss Revolution<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Clearly, ABC and Oprah alike wanted viewers to watch. Viewers assumed the use of a semaglutide, and specifically the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2024\/02\/whitney-way-thore-weight-ozempic\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">infamous name brand of Ozempic<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, Oprah spoke with a woman who had lost 85 pounds using an unnamed, undisclosed weight loss medication.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is now a sense of hope, and you no longer blame yourself,\u201d Oprah remarked. Yet even people who\u2019ve been <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thehollywoodgossip.com\/2023\/12\/jennifer-fessler-is-still-on-ozempic-after-hospitalization-im-not-afraid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hospitalized while taking Ozempic<\/a> continue to praise the medication. <\/p>\n<p>We live in a society that would rather someone be physically ill than overweight.
