Cameron Hamilton<\/strong> and Lauren Speed-Hamilton<\/strong> were noticeably absent from the Love Is Blind<\/em><\/a> season 6 reunion \u2014 and he\u2019s revealing there\u2019s a reason why.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe were invited to the season 6 reunion<\/a> and we respectfully declined,\u201d Cameron, 33, said via Instagram<\/a> on Friday, March 15, adding there\u2019s no truth to \u201cany rumor\u201d that he doesn\u2019t like Love Is Blind<\/em>, Netflix or Kinetic Content. \u201cWe already were booked for that date.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron and Lauren, 36, met on the first season of the Netflix dating show and walked down the aisle on day 40, which was filmed in 2018.<\/p>\n

Cameron noted that he had \u201conly watched a few episodes\u201d of season 6 and \u201cwasn\u2019t motivated to keep watching.\u201d Despite his comments, Cameron clarified he has \u201cno hate\u201d for the current cast.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just wasn\u2019t into this season. I didn\u2019t find those couples that I wanted to root for,\u201d he admitted, adding that he\u2019s \u201cbeen very happy\u201d to support the show for the past four years. \u201cWhen it comes to genuineness, I think, on every season there are people who are open to getting married, there are people who want to get famous and there are people who fall somewhere in the middle.\u201d<\/p>\n

Cameron continued, \u201cAnd for me watching, of course, I want to see people who have that true connection and who genuinely want to get married.\u201d<\/p>\n

As for season 6, Cameron felt it was less about the search for love and more about \u201call the memes, it\u2019s all the one liners, it\u2019s all the drama. The mess.\u201d<\/p>\n

However, he noted that he doesn\u2019t place blame on the cast for \u201cplaying into that.\u201d<\/a> Cameron pointed out that fans love to discuss the drama online, adding, \u201cNow, season six, the cast is well aware of how the show works.\u201d<\/p>\n

Lauren Speed and Cameron Hamilton, who got married on day 40 of the dating experiment, found their happily ever on the show. \u201cI didn\u2019t hear anything about the one couple that did get married on this season. It was all about everyone else,\u201d Cameron said.<\/p>\n
