That said, you only get to choose the base model, which comes with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. I\u2019d normally bristle at 8GB of RAM and such a tiny storage setup in 2024, but the price drop takes some of the sting out of that. These prices are even lower than recent discounts<\/a> that had taken the laptop down to $749. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n The one thing that\u2019s unclear is how long Apple will continue supplying Walmart (or other retailers) with new M1 Airs or whether this is a short-term arrangement until the existing stock is cleared out. We\u2019ve reached out to Apple for clarification but didn\u2019t immediately receive a response.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n If this is an ongoing deal, that\u2019s huge for wedge-heads everywhere. And even if it isn\u2019t, at least it gives folks the option of getting one before they\u2019re truly gone.
