Back to her roots!\u00a0Sammi \u201cSweetheart\u201d Giancola<\/b><\/a>\u00a0announced her return to the shore\u00a0Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/i><\/a> after more than a decade\u00a0amid the recent social media drama with her costars<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cOK, I can finally say \u2026 I\u2019m backkkk!\u201d the Sweetheart Styles founder<\/a>, 35, captioned an Instagram selfie post<\/a> on Sunday March 12, while tagging the official\u00a0Jersey Shore<\/i>\u00a0Instagram account.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Just hours earlier, the MTV<\/a> series\u2019 official Instagram account teased fans that Sammi was filming for the series by sharing an image of her sitting in front of a green screen and a camera. The account also cited one of Sammi\u2019s iconic catchphrases from the show, captioning the post, \u201cShe\u2019s still the sweetest bitch you\u2019ll ever meet.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Sammi\u2019s last appearance in the hit reality franchise was in 2012. After the original cast decided to return to reality TV with the spinoff show in 2018, Sammi chose not to participate.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI have chosen not to join the show this season because I am at a completely different place in my life right now focusing on my businesses and relationship,\u201d the New Jersey native wrote via Instagram in March 2018. \u201cI am not the same person as I was when I was 22. At 31, I am currently extremely happy in every aspect of my life and want to avoid potentially TOXIC SITUATIONS.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n While she didn\u2019t elaborate on the meaning of \u201ctoxic situations,\u201d Sammi\u2019s former tumultuous relationship<\/a> with cast member\u00a0Ronnie Ortiz-Magro<\/b><\/a>\u00a0was a highlight of the series. The exes dated on and off for five years before calling it quits in 2014. By 2021, Sammi moved on with boyfriend\u00a0Justin May<\/b><\/a>, whereas Ronnie, 37, got engaged to ex-fianc\u00e9e\u00a0Saffire Matos<\/b><\/a>. However, the two endured several ups and downs and reportedly broke up in mid-2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In September 2022,\u00a0Nicole \u201cSnooki\u201d Polizzi<\/a>\u00a0<\/b>made headlines when she revealed that the\u00a0Jersey Shore<\/i>\u00a0cast made an effort to invite Sammi back on the show.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cWe tried to get her back [on the show] like two years ago, all of us texting her saying, \u2018Come for one dinner. Why not?\u2019\u201d Nicole, 35, told\u00a0E! News<\/a>\u00a0<\/i>at the time. \u201cAnd she\u2019s just always like, \u2018No, I\u2019ll never do that show again.\u2019 We didn\u2019t want to push it.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n However, things took a sharp turn when Snooki claimed that Sammi had blocked her on social media.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI went to go message her a while ago and she blocked me,\u201d the reality TV personality added. \u201cI don\u2019t know what I did. It\u2019s unfortunate because we would love for her to come back. She\u2019s a part of the show. I feel like it\u2019s not full unless all of us are there. It\u2019s sad.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n Four months later, the Snooki Shop owner and costar\u00a0Jenni \u201cJWoww\u201d Farley<\/b><\/a>\u00a0seemingly hinted that there was drama with Sammi<\/a> ahead of the\u00a0Jersey Shore: Family Vacation<\/i>\u00a0season 6 premiere in January 2023.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cI\u2019m still blocked,\u201d Nicole told\u00a0Us Weekly<\/a><\/i>\u00a0on January 26, while JWoww, 37, chimed in and said, \u201cI\u2019m probably gonna be [blocked] after today.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n
