The \u2018Mean Girls\u2019 actress, 37, had her first child Luai with husband Bader Shammas, also 37, in July, and has said she got emotional when he watched her in \u2018The Parent Trap\u2019 as she didn\u2019t think he knew it was her on screen.<\/p>\n
She told \u2018The Drew Barrymore Show\u2019: \u201cOh actually, I just wrapped a movie four days ago and I came home from work and my son was getting ready for dinner time.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I opened the door and he was watching \u2018The Parent Trap\u2019. It was just on the TV.<\/p>\n
\u201cAnd I started crying because I\u2019m like, he doesn\u2019t even know that\u2019s mommy yet.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI was like, do I turn it off or do I just… he was kind of just staring. Because maybe, my voice is still similar to how it was then.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cSo I was like, maybe he knows, like a little bit that it\u2019s me because it sounds like me.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cBut it was a really magical moment. I took tons of pictures of it.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLindsay opened up about the emotional moment after declaring she doesn\u2019t feel pressure to \u201csnap back\u201d her body after giving birth.<\/p>\n
\nShe told Bustle: \u201cEveryone\u2019s getting so thin now. I feel like everything always comes full circle again, so this is that moment, and this, too, shall pass.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nReferring to the Ozempic trend, she added: \u201cBut it does seem like there\u2019s pressure.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLindsay stressed she wouldn\u2019t be participating in the craze among celebs of taking the anti-diabetes drug, adding: \u201cI was so attached to (Luai) that my last thought was going on a treadmill.<\/p>\n
\n\u201cI feel like we put so much pressure on ourselves to have to look \u2018good\u2019 so soon, but you look so beautiful (after having a child.) Give yourself time.\u201d<\/p>\n
\nLindsay and Bader had their son in the summer of 2023 in Dubai, where the couple, who secretly married in April 2022, are now living.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
