Brad Pitt<\/strong><\/a> and Angelina Jolie<\/strong><\/a> have been hammering out the details of their divorce since they split in 2016 \u2014 and there\u2019s finally an end in sight.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe negotiation process was agonizing, but the financial docs were filed in the last couple of weeks,\u201d a source exclusively reveals in the new issue of Us Weekly<\/em>. \u201cBrad just wants to move on with his life, and this final step symbolizes relief and a definitive end to their relationship.\u201d<\/p>\n

The insider adds that Jolie, 48, will maintain primary custody of the pair\u2019s three minor children: Shiloh, 17, and twins Vivienne and Knox, 15. (The exes also share sons Maddox, 22, and Pax, 20, and daughter Zahara, 19.)<\/p>\n

Pitt, 60, \u201cisn\u2019t thrilled\u201d with the arrangement, a second source tells Us<\/em>, but \u201cagreed because it wasn\u2019t as bad as Angie [getting] full custody like she wanted<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n

The primary custody agreement is a significant concession, the insider notes, as Jolie \u201cfeels Brad caused their divorce and that it\u2019s her duty to protect the kids\u201d and therefore \u201chasn\u2019t been giving in at any point.\u201d<\/p>\n

While Pitt still has visitation rights, a third source says \u201cit\u2019s disappointing that he doesn\u2019t see the kids\u201d as often as he\u2019d like to.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe wishes their relationship was stronger and wants to work on that,\u201d the insider explains.<\/p>\n

Custody is not the only issue that Jolie and Pitt have had to work out in court. Earlier this month, a judge gave Pitt the go-ahead to sue Jolie for breach of implied-in-fact contract for selling her portion<\/a> of the French company Miraval to Tenute del Mondo without Pitt\u2019s consent.<\/p>\n

As Pitt fights for the future of Miraval, he is also looking ahead with girlfriend Ines de Ramon<\/strong>, whom he began dating in 2022.<\/p>\n

\u201cMany of Brad\u2019s friends have met Ines and think she\u2019s great because she lets him be himself,\u201d the first source says, adding that Pitt and de Ramon, 31, are \u201cboth ready to commit to a deeper stage\u201d of their relationship. \u201cBrad and Ines have met each other\u2019s families and everyone hit it off. Ines has really warmed up to Brad\u2019s mom. They are closer than Angelina ever was.\u201d<\/p>\n
