Parents night out! <\/span>Oppenheimer <\/span><\/em>actor\u00a0<\/span>Josh Hartnett<\/a> and wife Tamsin Egerton made an ultra rare red carpet appearance on Friday as they stepped out for a pre-Oscars party.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The couple stunned in all-black ensembles, with Egerton accessorizing her long dress with a gold necklace and a black-and-white geometric clutch. The event, held at a private Los Angeles residence, was hosted by Saint Laurent, <\/span>Vanity Fair<\/span><\/em> and NBCUniversal in celebration of <\/span>Oppenheimer<\/span><\/em>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Also on hand from the <\/span>Oppenheimer<\/a> <\/span><\/em>cast was <\/span>Robert Downey Jr.<\/a> with <\/span>his wife, Susan Downey<\/a>. The couple was all smiles as they expertly coordinated in black-and-white menswear.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Meanwhile, <\/span>Cillian Murphy<\/a> and <\/span>Emily Blunt<\/a> appeared to be f\u00eated elsewhere, as they were reportedly <\/span>in attendance at CAA’s pre-Oscars party<\/a> at the Sunset Hotel on Friday.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Other attendees at the Saint Laurent soir\u00e9e included <\/span>Zo\u00eb Kravitz<\/a>, <\/span>Olivia Wilde<\/a>, <\/span>Gwyneth Paltrow<\/a>, <\/span>Sharon Stone<\/a>, <\/span>Jon Hamm<\/a>, <\/span>Donald Glover<\/a>, <\/span>Hailey Bieber<\/a>, <\/span>Keegan-Michael Key<\/a>\u00a0and <\/span>Salma Hayek<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Hartnett’s latest public appearance comes amid a busy awards season for the <\/span>Oppenheimer <\/span><\/em>stars. The group <\/span>took home trophies<\/a>\u00a0for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture at the\u00a0<\/span>30th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards<\/a> on Feb. 24.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Murphy, Downey and Blunt are all up for acting awards at\u00a0<\/span>Sunday’s Academy Awards<\/a>, while the film is also nominated for Best Picture and <\/span>Christopher Nolan<\/a> for Best Director — among several other nominations.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n For his part in the film, Hartnett played Nobel Prize-winning physicist Ernest Lawrence.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The notoriously private Hartnett and Egerton quietly tied the knot in November 2021 after 10 years of dating, <\/span>ET Canada previously confirmed<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The actor, 45, revealed to Gold Derby last month that he and Egerton had welcomed a fourth child when he nonchalantly mentioned, “I have four kids,” during a red carpet interview. Egerton, 35, is also an actress, and has starred in films such as\u00a0<\/span>St. Trinian\u2019s<\/span><\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span>Love, Rosie<\/span><\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n In 2020, ET spoke with\u00a0the actor<\/a>, who rose to fame in the ’90s and early aughts with roles in\u00a0<\/span>Pearl Harbor, O\u00a0<\/span><\/em>and\u00a0<\/span>Black Hawk Down<\/span><\/em>, about taking some time off from Hollywood to focus on his family and turn his attention to projects he was passionate about.<\/span><\/p>\n “I did take some time off, but I mostly took some time off to do other things, like raise my children,” he added. “I started to write a lot. I wrote a few scripts, wrote a few short music videos, and started producing.”<\/span><\/p>\n According to the star’s <\/span>IMDb<\/a>\u00a0page, he has completed production on a film titled <\/span>Fight or Flight<\/span><\/em>, and is currently working on an upcoming thriller with M. Night Shyamalan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n “My relationship with Hollywood is what it has always been — just me doing the thing that I want to do and try to make sure that I can do it. It’s difficult to make movies in this industry if you’re trying to make personal films,” Hartnett told ET. “Luckily, I have been able to come in contact, especially recently, with a lot of filmmakers and people that are on board with hiring me to play the kind of roles I want to play.
