\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n The Bold and the Beautiful<\/em><\/strong> was renewed for one more season at CBS, but fans couldn\u2019t help but wonder why the show was not given a larger renewal order, similar to that of The Young and the Restless<\/em>.<\/p>\n If you missed the news, The Young and the Restless<\/em> was renewed for four more years<\/a> by CBS just a few weeks ago.<\/p>\n However, The Bold and the Beautiful<\/em> was given a one season renewal, and now, the show\u2019s supervising producer Casey Kasprzyk <\/strong>just explained why.<\/p>\n Keep reading to find out more\u2026<\/em><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n On the Bold Live podcast<\/a>, Casey <\/strong>explained, \u201cIt was announced Bold & Beautiful <\/em>has a one-year extension. So, I saw a lot of comments saying, \u2018Hmm. Y&R <\/em>got four years, B&B only got one.\u2019 Well, the truth is, we are two different shows with two different contracts, two different deals.\u201d<\/p>\n He continued, \u201cIt\u2019s not my place to really comment on it other than to say that we\u2019re on a three-year deal and so the third year was picked up. The way it works, next year will be when we negotiate for a brand new contract. So we are currently on a deal that gives us one more year. So we\u2019re on through 2025. Thank you, CBS.
